Acronis Cyber Cloud Reviews

I currently use Acronis Cyber Cloud for backup of servers, desktop computers, and email, including Microsoft 365. I do use Acronis Cyber Cloud for disaster recovery.

The most valuable features in Acronis Cyber Cloud are the antivirus and anti-malware features. The anti-malware feature is AI-based and helps improve my cybersecurity posture with its AI-based multi-ware feature. It protects against attacks and ransomware. It is very effective for vulnerability assessment in that when the feature runs, it gives me a report of the vulnerabilities in my system and software that need to be patched. From the interface, I can patch my systems and software.

Acronis could add more platforms that can be protected, such as Proxmox. I am not sure they support that yet, but I would appreciate them adding that capability.

I would rate scalability, its ability to scale and expand, a nine.

The initial setup for Acronis Cyber Cloud is a very simple process.

I purchased Acronis Cyber Cloud through a partner.

At this point, I am satisfied because Acronis Cyber Cloud meets all my needs.

I would give the pricing for Acronis Cyber Cloud a five. It could be a bit cheaper. The price is a bit high, especially if you add the advanced features; the price goes up further.

I do not know much about competitors, but I consider Commvault and possibly Veeam, though I have never really used them.

Apart from backing up your on-premises servers, Acronis Cyber Cloud allows you to back up cloud servers on Azure, AWS, and Google. It also backs up in Azure Storage, Azure Blob, and S3 bucket on AWS. You can back up Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and it supports virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix, and Red Hat, and much more. Acronis Cyber Cloud supports a lot of platforms for backup. Acronis Cyber Cloud's API integration works fine, though I do not handle that part; my colleague handles the API integration. The ability to work with more platforms is important. My final rating for Acronis Cyber Cloud is eight.

In our daily operations, we monitor tasks by keeping a checklist to see how much data is backed up, what the ratio is, and what the total data size is. Our operation is mainly focused on these measures.

The management of Acronis Cyber Cloud is straightforward due to its simplicity in configuration. One of the features that stands out for me is data encryption because it provides an extra layer of security. Additionally, Acronis Cyber Cloud offers manageability that is superior to previous solutions. It is a great choice for my colleagues as well, especially in comparison to Veritas, which required higher-level configuration.

The interface could be improved, especially the cloud configuration, which currently has many tabs. Navigating through settings and the right-hand panel could be more streamlined. If there were some drop-down options integrated, the configuration would be more user-friendly.

I have been working with Acronis Cyber Cloud for about six months.

The stability of Acronis Cyber Cloud is excellent. I would rate it nine out of ten.

Acronis Cyber Cloud is quite scalable. We can scale up as needed, and I would rate its scalability as eight out of ten.

I did not have to communicate with Acronis support because everything has been easy to manage. The articles they provided have been sufficient.

Previously, we used Veritas. We switched to Acronis Cyber Cloud because it is more cost-effective and easier to manage.

I configured it on Microsoft Azure Public Cloud. The setup was straightforward and did not require extensive time or effort.

I handled the implementation myself. I only needed to check some articles for guidance.

This solution is cost-effective compared to Veritas, which we used previously.

The product is priced reasonably. I rate the pricing nine out of ten.

I recommend Acronis Cyber Cloud due to its excellent manageability and ease of configuration. It requires fewer configuration steps compared to Veritas. Overall, I rate the solution eight out of ten.

I am using Acronis Cyber Cloud for database storage, specifically for laptop backups and business-related data.

With Acronis Cyber Cloud, I can protect my backups and data from cyber threats. If any cyber threat happens, my data is safeguarded even if my laptop crashes and user credentials do not work. It prevents security vulnerabilities. It also operates on an interval and schedule-based system that requires some knowledge to create policies for database protection. The multi-tenant architecture allows easy navigation with user-friendly access. There are only a few buttons needed to navigate product-related information, making it simple to use.

Some improvement is needed in the speed when downloading data from the cloud backups, which requires more bandwidth. While uploading data is quick, downloading can take a significant amount of time, sometimes requiring five to six hours to download a 30 GB file. Having appropriate bandwidth is crucial for faster downloads. Additionally, basic support is delivered through a ticketing system, but direct OEM support without a mediator would be more efficient.

I have been using Acronis Cyber Cloud for two years.

I am not able to provide much detail on the support. I expect better service by paying more money for resources and technological solutions.

It is easy to set up Acronis Cyber Cloud, manage, and monitor it. Managing, monitoring, creating new policies, and adding users are straightforward.

The licensing cost for Microsoft products can be challenging. Business Premium offers more services, including cybersecurity features, unlike standard licenses. Organizations may find it difficult to invest in Business Premium. If some basic security features were included in standard licenses, it would encourage investing in more Microsoft licenses.

I am an end user managing Acronis Cyber Cloud with licenses for my organization, not providing services to clients. The overall rating is eight.

I have installed Acronis Cyber Cloud for file server backup. The second destination for the file server backup is Acronis Cloud Storage.

The features I find most effective for cybersecurity include reporting, vulnerability scanning, ransomware protection, and encryption. With these features, Acronis Cyber Cloud supports our data protection needs.

If there is any attack on the server, I would like to know whether the backup image will be in a healthy or unhealthy status. Sandboxing features would be beneficial.

I have been using Acronis Cyber Cloud for five years.

I would rate the stability of Acronis Cloud as ten out of ten. It is a very stable product.

I consider Acronis Cloud to be a scalable product and would rate its scalability as ten out of ten.

Technical support is always prompt. I would rate them ten out of ten.

Before Acronis, I used Veritas. I switched due to the complex licensing and manageability challenges for a layman.

There is a subscription model available currently. Overall, it aligns well with other software in terms of pricing.

The current price for the advanced version is approximately 35,000 Indian rupees, which I find reasonable compared to other software.

Currently, we are checking OpenText backup, however, Acronis is already deployed with all the customers.

I would recommend Acronis Cyber Cloud for its single console administration feature, allowing multiple device management from one console. 

I rate the overall solution as ten out of ten.

We use Acronis Cyber Cloud to back up our core servers and to run disaster recovery tests.

The product's protection plans are valuable because we do not have to install different applications. It is an all-in-one solution with a single pane of glass monitoring for all applications within Acronis Cyber Cloud. The ease of use and user-friendly setup are important features. Additionally, the assurance that we are always protected and backed up is a significant benefit.

Support for legacy storage solutions, like tape, could be improved. Acronis Cyber Cloud only supports on-premises solutions, and I wish there were a way to implement this support with the cloud or have another backup location, other than the cloud, instead of tape.

Deploying Acronis Cyber Cloud was quite easy because of the extensive knowledge base provided by Acronis.

I rate the stability of Acronis Cyber Cloud as nine out of ten.

It is a scalable solution. I rate its scalability as ten out of ten due to the hybrid deployment options.

I rate the technical support of Acronis as a strong eight because although the response times can sometimes be slow, they always go the extra mile and even conduct remote sessions when addressing complex issues.

The initial setup was quite easy, taking just a few minutes due to the detailed knowledge base provided by Acronis.

I did not do the installation all by myself and required help during deployment.

I rate the pricing as an eight out of ten. I find it to be quite affordable, but I am not involved in the financial aspect of the product.

I highly recommend Acronis Cyber Cloud due to its ease of use, good pricing, and the fact that it does not have a steep learning curve. Anyone well-versed with backup software can easily pick it up and implement it in their current infrastructure. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Basically, our company consists of a small team, and we have partnered up with a lot of other companies, like Acronis, Barracuda, and Bitdefender. Regarding Acronis, though we don't have many customers, we do deal with four or five customers we have in hand. We provide the first line of support to the customer in areas where there is a normal change in backup scheduling or if they want to blacklist or whitelist some sites, and if they increase their consumption and usage while wanting to have a dedicated separate cloud, which they want to be integrated with Acronis.

There are a lot of vendors in the market, but Acronis tries to integrate all the solutions into a single consolidated dashboard. Acronis wants to be the best in backup, security, vulnerability assessment, patch management, disaster recovery, EDR, and XDR. There are a lot of things in the tool's road map, so the product constantly keeps researching various technologies and tries to improvise. There is always something new in the products offered by Acronis. The tool offers a lot of integrations with Microsoft, SAP, and most of the other vendors.

Everything about the tool is good. With respect to support, I feel that sometimes there is a delay. I want the tool to improve in the area of support because whatever solution you have, the support has to be there. Sometimes, there are some kinds of delays in the support services offered. I feel it is a nice product to deal with as it is a very user-friendly and simple tool.

I have been using Acronis Cyber Cloud for eight months. My company has a partnership with Acronis.

Stability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten. The tool consumes a lot of resources. For example, during backups, the tool utilizes a lot of RAM.

The tool is suitable for medium and large scale businesses. For small businesses, I don't think that the tool will be suitable because they wouldn't look for multiple solutions. Bigger firms or medium scale businesses would need a lot of other things apart from security aspects.

It is a highly scalable solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

The product's initial setup phase is neither difficult nor easy, making it something of a moderate level for me. If you have a certain basic knowledge of IT networking, I think it is easy to deal with the tool. The tool offers a lot of training, certification, and webinars, and if you are constantly attending all of those, I feel it is good as you will be able to grab all the techniques related to the tool quickly.

The deployment takes only a few hours because it is all associated with the cloud and certificate by customer account, usage, and scheduling. Creating policies or protection plans will only take a few hours or minutes.

I rate the overall tool an eight out of ten.

I use this mostly for the cloud-to-cloud backup of Office 365. That is the most important thing I am looking for. Microsoft Office 365 adoption is more than approximately 76% in the market.

The features include all the products, however, support and pricing stand out. If I want one of the best cloud-to-cloud backups for Office 365, I can definitely consider Acronis. Data protection is an extensive intangible benefit, which makes me happy.

Regarding India, the most important thing is pricing. Pricing is still a little high, as other vendors offer better pricing.

I have used the solution for almost two years now.

It's not a popular product. They are offering too many things like DLP, a firewall, and an antivirus, which makes it somewhat complex. I do not want to buy everything from one vendor.

I would rate scalability as nine out of ten. I can expand on the fly by just adding space or the number of users. It's automatically scalable.

The support is good. Electronic support is also good. I would rate it as eight out of ten.

In my case, the solution is not too difficult to set up.

For my high level, it is around three and a half to four years.

If I want the initial products like DLP or antivirus without a bundle that includes cybersecurity and firewall, I can choose Acronis. It's suitable for small and medium enterprises.

The overall product rating is seven out of ten.
