What is our primary use case?
We have been using Assembly Copilot for the last one and a half years. The main use case for Assembly Copilot is that it generally follows the defined SOP, captures videos of assembly cycles, labels a small amount of training data, and trains AI models automatically. As a senior executive, I am working on it for showing the correct assembly sequence step-by-step. It also reduces mistakes from major lapses. It also alerts me immediately if any part is missing or installed incorrectly. Assembly Copilot also helps in making it easier to learn new products or variants. It reduces the need to constantly check paperwork instructions. With these kinds of help, I'm working on these kinds of things on a daily basis, and Assembly Copilot helps a lot.
If you are assembling electrical panels, the system can verify that the correct component was installed in the correct location before you move to the next step.
How has it helped my organization?
Assembly Copilot has impacted my organization positively at three levels: operational, financial, and strategic. The operational impact is that the system catches assembly mistakes as they happen, instead of after the product is completed. If a worker forgets to install a component, the system can detect it immediately and prevent the product from moving forward. It also leads to faster training. New employees often need weeks or months to become fully productive, but with the help of this tool, the onboarding time is shorter, there is reduced dependency on experienced operators, and a faster ramp-up during hiring surges. The financial impact is that it has lowered the cost of poor quality.
Regarding metrics related to these impacts, I can say that previously, it took a lot of cost and a lot of time for hiring new employees. After using this tool, that has been reduced significantly.
Assembly Copilot has helped my organization improve compliance and meet industry standards. For example, it gave us higher quality, lower operating costs, faster workforce training, better production visibility, and improved stability and competitiveness. Regarding the time saved, the hiring process was lengthy before using this AI tool. It saved our time and also saved our money.
What is most valuable?
The best features of Assembly Copilot are real-time work guidance. The system displays step-by-step instructions while the operator works. There is also error prevention with mistake-proofing capabilities. Assembly Copilot can monitor the assembly sequence and prevent common errors before defective products move downstream. It can also control the quality. The platform continuously checks whether assembly procedures are being followed and provides immediate feedback, helping to reduce scrap and rework. It also helps in root cause analysis. By collecting process and quality data, the platform helps engineers investigate why defects or production problems occur.
Assembly Copilot helps me with real-time work guidance. The system displays step-by-step instructions, so I can check it immediately. It notifies me through on-screen prompts, alarms, or signal lights. It is also helping with computer vision monitoring. Cameras observe tools, parts, and work actions. The AI recognizes assembly activities and compares them with the expected process. It also controls the quality analytics and process improvements. It records detailed timing data for each assembly cycle, allowing managers to measure value-added versus non-value-added work. It helps with balanced production lines, identifies bottlenecks, and compares operator performance and process variations.
What needs improvement?
Assembly Copilot is limited in that if the camera placement and visibility are not clear, it will not work. It also depends on the quality of training data and on process consistency. The tool has these kinds of limitations. If these are reduced in the future, it will be very helpful.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with Assembly Copilot since 2023, which is three years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We evaluated other options before choosing Assembly Copilot, but they were not helpful. That is why we moved to Assembly Copilot.
What other advice do I have?
Assembly Copilot is very easy to use. My experience with Assembly Copilot's documentation and training materials is positive. Assembly Copilot is very secure, but it depends on government governance. Until then, it is applicable for use. The accuracy and reliability of Assembly Copilot's AI output are consistent for me. Assembly Copilot is deployed in my organization on-premises. It is installed for the hiring process, so it has impacted that significantly. My overall review rating for Assembly Copilot is seven out of ten.
