Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform serves as my main platform for centrally managing and automating Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments, including multi-cluster management, cluster provisioning, RBAC access, GitOps, and continuous delivery. I have configured application deployment and migrations from typical virtual machines to the containerized platform, and I perform day-to-day operations tasks on Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform.
I can provide a specific example of how I have used Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform over the last one year. One task I regularly worked on was deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters through Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform. Instead of logging into every cluster individually, we used Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform as a centralized management platform. For one project, I provisioned a Kubernetes cluster on VMware. On the occasions when issues were escalated, the feedback from my team was generally positive. They were responsive and provided the required guidance to resolve the issue, so I would say the support was good.
I would rate the customer support around 8 or 9 out of 10. I did not interact with them frequently, but the few escalations we had were handled professionally.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before using Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform, we mainly managed Kubernetes clusters using native Kubernetes tools such as kubectl, kubeconfig files, and the individual dashboards provided by each environment. As the number of clusters increased, managing them separately became more time-consuming, which is why we moved to Rafay Kubernetes Operations Platform.
