The customers usually use this to authorize resources like five servers, and Exchange SharePoint.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
It's pretty easy to manage, and quite easy to deploy. It's easy to understand to work, and customers also tell us that there are a lot of options even too many sometimes for them. Sometimes the product is even too big for them at the beginning.
The product also has a good payload with pricing. That's why the customers choose this solution. The price and the quality and options have a good ratio.
What needs improvement?
The GUI could be improved because this GUI was invented ten years ago, and now we have a modern user interface. This GUI is a bit older than expected in this market.
They should maybe add additional options, not only for authorization but also for better identity management.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been working with SolarWinds Access Rights Manager for a few months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It is a stable product.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is a scalable product.
How are customer service and support?
The technical support team is very efficient and gives rapid answers.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. The customization of the product is a bit longer because we need to understand our customer environment to create some templates, etc. Usually, a pro project takes two to three weeks. I have two engineers who are responsible for these projects.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing of the solution is fine. I rate the pricing a five out of ten.
What other advice do I have?
It's quite competitive and a feature rich platform. It's suitable for most companies, maybe not the biggest ones, but for Poland, almost all companies could fit such a platform. I rate the overall product a nine out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises
