While it has many popular features like Background Remover or Magic Design, the best feature for me as a Java developer is Magic Switch. With one click, it can convert a technical whiteboard into a professional presentation or a presentation into a summary document. For developer benefit, it is perfect for turning a messy brainstorming whiteboard of our system architecture into a clean deck. While not flashy for an enterprise user, System for Cross-domain Identity is the most critical feature. It allows us to automate the provisioning and de-provisioning of users through our company's identity provider. Since we work with data, the Flourish integration is arguably the most powerful visualization tool in the suite. It allows for high-end interactive data storytelling. For our code, the Connect API, Magic Switch, and SCIM API are the best features Canva Enterprise offers.

For an organization like ours, it is not just a design tool; it is a productivity operating system that centralizes brand identity and automates content workflow. Additionally, Canva currently provides notifications when a design is exported. However, developers need more granular triggers such as comment added, approval rejected, or brand kit element updated. I wish I had known earlier that Canva Enterprise already had built-in templates, which I was not using. I was using manual formation instead. Canva AI is something I was not initially sure about. I recently purchased the Canva AI license. When I speak to the AI agent in Canva Enterprise, it will design according to my requirement. I wish there were multiple options to modify the templates. I would love to have templates which I can modify according to my requirement with Canva AI. However, if they can improve on the code base side, they can start generating different codes accordingly.

Canva Enterprise is one of the highly secure platforms, which can be integrated with SAML or Single Sign-On, as well as role-based access controls and governing policies. I have been using Canva Enterprise for the last six or seven months.

I also perform bulk content creation. Sometimes I edit videos on Canva or add captions to videos. Canva's API is very valuable to me because I use many automations. In general, I use Canva Enterprise to make social media posts, event posters, employee ID cards, product catalogs, perform video editing, make logos, and for use in automation.

I have been using Canva Enterprise actively for making a university admission campaign, and my marketing team created 50 plus brochures for different departments using different logos and colors. I use it primarily for real-time editing and sharing and reviewing designs because we need to share and review designs following the hierarchy. Collaboration is an efficient feature because team members can leave comments, suggest edits, and get approval within Canva Enterprise instead of sending files back and forth via email.

I find brand governance personally valuable because I get the official logo, fonts, and colors, and I can make changes too. Other teams can edit text and images, but they cannot change the core brand elements, which is what brand governance is. For example, the placement team creates a company outreach brochure, but the university logo and brand colors remain locked, ensuring consistency. That is where brand governance comes into play. Regarding automation, Canva Enterprise can pull data from a spreadsheet or other systems, generating hundreds of personalized designs automatically.
