A very stable tool that offers security and protection, along with automatic updates
The product's initial setup was very straightforward. When it comes to the time taken for the deployment part of 360 Safeguard, once in the back-end, the tool normally shows a message and shows the upgrade or whatever is running the back-end that I might not have noticed. The solution is deployed on the cloud. I could not even notice the deployment process because I think it just somehow showed up in my system one day, and it worked with my Windows system very smoothly and seamlessly. When I install Windows Office and choose Office 365, I see 360 Safeguard installed.

If you had asked me a few weeks ago, I would have said the user interface needed improvement, but we've just updated it. It looks really modern now, and it's a lot easier to use. At the moment, I don't have anything specific for improvement. Additionally, I would suggest different roles for users. We want the ability to lock down certain functions for certain user roles to prevent accidental changes, such as an apprentice accidentally deleting a customer.

Pros

"I like that it's stable and easy to access."
"I would absolutely recommend this solution to others."
"The product's initial setup was very straightforward."
"What I found most valuable in 360 Safeguard is its VPN feature. I support remote sites, so I use a VPN."
"We really like the fact that we get a quarantine report because we can identify for ourselves which emails we want to keep and which we want to get rid of. It also gives us the option of directly allowing emails, which we really like. That way, the next time we get such emails, they're not blocked."
"We have not had any issues with the product, the pricing is probably better than most vendors, and the support is definitely top-notch."
"Previously, we were getting too much junk mail in the inbox, and now it gives us more time to focus on work rather than deleting emails."
"Within the first three years, we were able to see that this product has been perfect for our business."
"[One of the] things that make[s] it really attractive to end-users... is their ability to manage their own spam queues via the reports that SpamTitan offers. It allows them to determine what is spam and what isn't."
"From a price-performance ratio, it is one of the best; it does not cost a lot and does its job just fine, and if you fine tune it, it is just ideal."
"We have a lot less spam going through. Because of this, work hours are not lost searching through all the spam emails to determine which ones are legitimate. This saves our bank clients' time since they are not forced to search their inbox for legitimate emails between spams. Not a lot of spam is going through. I think time is essential and we are gaining a lot of it with this solution since a lot of emails are automatically filtered out."
"SpamTitan has helped improve our spam catch rate and reduce our false positive rate by at least 70%; if we are tracking viral intrusions, it is even more than that, as it has virtually eliminated viral intrusions."

Cons

"The web center in 360 Safeguard could be better, so this is its area for improvement. 360 Safeguard could be more scalable, especially for big businesses."
"It could be more secure and compatible with other software."
"In 360 Safeguard, there is something called the menu or advanced menu support, a process that I find to be a little bit awkward."
"I'm not 100% sure how well they scan certain attachments."
"When an email is quarantined, there are a couple of different search filters to help find what you're looking for. Having more choices would be helpful because as it is now, we can search for inbound or outbound, the score, the subject, and the email address."
"The interface is a little outdated. The menus are simplistic and visually, it's pretty old."
"It works when it wants to, it doesn't want, it doesn't work."
"There is no plugin for Outlook, which might be of an advantage so that you can just click on a link in Outlook that takes you right to your quarantine list. It doesn't have that at the moment."
"Sometimes, things can get caught back in spam that you had previously released. Without going in, releasing the whole domain, and opening it up, since you don't want to do that often because the company can get infected as well, I have a couple of things that I previously released show back up again. I don't understand why this is happening, but I would like to know why it happened, e.g., did an algorithm change? It is important to know if I released an email last week why it was caught in spam the following week."
"One of the things that I have been asking them to do is add the ability to scan a domain's age."
"The documentation provided is very rudimentary."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I bought a license — it's quite cheap. It's definitely cheaper than an American product. It costs approximately $40 a year."
"360 Safeguard is low-priced. It only costs $300."
"The pricing is very reasonable and very comparable in the industry... Their licensing structure does leave a little bit to be desired. I would like it to be easier to understand how I can add licenses and update things."
"The price of SpamTitan is reasonable. It makes sense. There is no cost for me because I'm the managed service provider. The end customer pays the cost because we sell professional services to set up the whole solution, including SpamTitan and other products. Usually, it's part of a much bigger project."
"They give you an update without charging you more for it, which is awesome. I like that a lot. It makes you feel appreciated as a customer."
"The pricing and licensing are acceptable. The licensing is somewhat different; TitanHQ gives us a peak cap of simultaneous users, which they calculate as the number of email addresses viewed through so many days or weeks. That's considered our number of users, but it isn't always a one-to-one relationship, making it harder to resell. We can't say precisely that the solution costs X per month per user, but that's how we present the price to potential customers, and we just ensure we receive more than we pay to TitanHQ. The licensing hasn't caused us any problems, but it would be better if the pricing were per-user. I know that's not easy to achieve on a technical level."
"The pricing model was one of the reasons that we selected it. The solution was very effective at what it did and it was very cost-effective. My client saved in the 30% to 40% range by installing it, so the pricing is competitive."
"Its pricing is good. It's probably one of the most competitive anti-spam and anti-malware appliances out there for email. I was doing some looking around for pricing before I came to SpamTitan, and for the feature set, the price is very reasonable and competitive."
"Compared to the market, its price is fair."
"The pricing is very reasonable. I know the cloud version costs more because of active 24/7 monitoring, but we take care of that as our setup is on-prem. SpamTitan is in line with what we were paying for GFI MailEssentials but works much better."
