I think it's not possible to compare "enterprise backup tools" (NetBackup) with simple "imaging tools" :)
Acronis Cyber Protect and Veritas NetBackup are two prominent data protection solutions. Based on user reviews, Acronis Cyber Protect offers better pricing and customer support. However, Veritas NetBackup is superior in features and overall reliability, making it worth the higher cost.

It is suitable for our nature of business because data is very critical, and we cannot compromise on backup.
Whenever I have a question, they respond very quickly each time.
I'll give them a nine for how responsive they are in technical support.
The support takes too much time to respond to callbacks.
The support from Veritas NetBackup is very good.
The customer support is very poor.
The technical support from Veritas is rated an eight, as the local partners are good and support us.
Acronis Cyber Protect is a scalable product.
I would rate it eight on a scale from 1 to 10 for scalability, considering it will be multiple assets.
I feel that if you can keep it at least two or three levels back or forward with backward compatibility available, it would help people use the old disk storage and get more storage space.
The size of the catalog was an issue, but it was more about outgrowing our own architecture than a problem with Veritas NetBackup itself.
It ended up being at a point where we actually had to disable some features in order for the client to work through that specific purpose.
The stability of Acronis Cyber Protect is very high.
Veritas NetBackup performs well in terms of stability.
In the last 10 years, I have never faced a single incident regarding stability with Veritas NetBackup.
We are not very comfortable with cloud-based solutions at this time. We are looking for products which are entirely on-premises, so they remain within our control.
It's only after we discovered there was a compatibility issue with the application that the client was running that we actually had to do a lot of log file shipping to Acronis themselves and getting solutions because of other problems.
Having something such as a community for peer-to-peer interaction would be a valuable asset.
Veritas NetBackup needs improvement in terms of integration with the cloud.
We would really appreciate if Veritas offers products by which we can secure our backups against these ransomware attacks.
Support tickets take too long to be solved and the quality of engineers they have for support has lately become lacking.
I would rate the price as nine out of ten.
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the appliance licensing is a bit tricky and a bit expensive, especially when I have to license the hardware and the software;
I would rate pricing for Veritas NetBackup around six, as it is neither high nor low.
The biggest benefit of Acronis Cyber Protect for my customers is that it is a great asset to protect business data and ensure data is in a secure Vault.
The NASDAQ level CFS level backup is the feature I find most beneficial for our data protection strategy.
This is beneficial because any backup package stored in the cloud is not free, and if it shrinks well, it allows users to pay less for cloud storage.
In my opinion, the main benefits Veritas NetBackup provides are that it is a unified platform where we can integrate all the requirements such as online backup, offline backup, and virtualization backup in one single platform, although my only concern is the licensing structure.
I have found Veritas NetBackup to be the most reliable backup solution I have worked with so far.
Although we do not utilize its deduplication technology or cloud integration, we can trigger storage actions with NetBackup.
