Enables you to create many complex E-learnings
The older or classic version of Adobe Captivate needs much improvement because everything looks very old. It needs to improve how it works. Also, new features are missing too. The latest version is very good and unique in terms of work, but the level of complexity you can achieve it limited.

Rapid on-demand learning has boosted project delivery and supported cross-functional skills
Some of the best features that Udemy Business offers are low cost, latest content, and value for money. A wide range of instructors contribute courses. Learners have options to choose from. There are lots of fresh updates to the content. It serves tech and non-tech professionals very well. It is best for cross-functional capability building and is also user-intuitive for administrators. Out of those features such as low cost, latest content, wide range of instructors, and fresh updates, the low cost stands out the most for my team because it is very affordable, even for a small organization working on a tight budget. The updates on the latest courses are very good. We are able to learn new things every day. Udemy Business has positively impacted my organization by cutting costs by replacing expensive external training by 50%. It accelerates project delivery through fast, on-demand upskilling. It boosts confidence, capability, and long-term retention.

Pros

"We use Adobe Captivate 5.5 with Adobe Technical Communication Suite 3.5 to produce technical how-to videos."
"It helped us bring in-house what would have otherwise been extremely costly projects."
"The most valuable features are the templates that come with the package, the recording features, as well as the surveys and quizzes that you can create with it."
"It helped us bring in-house what would have otherwise been extremely costly projects."
"Adobe Captivate is a complex software. You can create many complex learnings with it. T"
"Automatic responsive designs allow us to not have to code for any eLearning modules."
"The initial setup is very easy."
"The main advantage of Udemy Business is its region-based learning. For example, if a learner from India wants to learn technology, they can find instructors from India who understand their learning style and thought process. This makes learning easier and more relatable. Additionally, Udemy Business is a global platform, so learners can access courses from instructors worldwide. A person from the USA or someone with a higher skill set can create videos. Another advantage is the range of available courses, with no limitations on what you can learn. You can get the right content for the specific technology."
"Udemy Business makes it easy to explore resources. It is easy to integrate with other platforms."
"The tool's most valuable feature is the self-paced approach. It also has practice questions, which help with some of my work. The participation features are very useful as well."
"The solution enables us to train our users."
"The tool's most valuable feature is its cloud computing content. While Udemy Business offers training and knowledge across various areas, I use it for cloud computing technologies. Many videos and tutorials are available on this topic, which benefits me."
"The best feature Udemy Business offers is the comprehensive course selection."
"The most valuable aspect is the hands-on experience it provides with labs, allowing real-world application and understanding of concepts beyond just theoretical knowledge."

Cons

"I would love to see a "For Dummies" option. It gets pretty extensive in its level of intricacies and options offered."
"The voice sounds automated and I would like to have a more natural-sounding voice."
"The older or classic version of Adobe Captivate needs much improvement because everything looks very old."
"I would love to see a "For Dummies" option. It gets pretty extensive in its level of intricacies and options offered."
"I would love a quick widget which walks novices through the process along with descriptive output options."
"Getting started with Captivate has been a struggle for two of us on our team."
"While most videos have good audio quality, some could be improved."
"Can improve by providing courses on the latest tech launches"
"It would be helpful if Udemy Business used more video recordings in the training and incorporated virtual training sessions to connect trainees."
"Udemy should offer more courses on network troubleshooting and provide easy lectures for everyone to understand, starting from the basics."
"The product must provide fewer updates."
"We can have something like an organization account. Even for small groups, if we can have some account where we can create a group. Right now I either purchase a course license or attend free courses and then send the link to my team members to join from their accounts. Instead of that, maybe we can have a corporate or group account where we can add people and assign courses to them."
"Improvement is needed in categorizing courses based on skill levels, such as beginner, intermediate, and advanced."
"I want the tool to improve by providing more learning opportunities in various dimensions or purposes. Additionally, it would be beneficial if there were specific examples related to our domain, as it would help us understand how to apply what we've learned to our business."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"This product is part of the larger Adobe Creative Cloud offering, which costs about $600 USD per year."
"The tool is very affordable."
"You can test the tool monthly and then switch to yearly licensing. The pricing is reasonable."
"We have individual subscriptions for five to six users."
"I suppose there is a license for the tool at the company level, but not for individuals."
"You can purchase individual courses and complete them at your own pace. If you want to explore more topics, you can purchase additional courses. It's a one-time purchase for each course, not a monthly subscription."
"The courses can be expensive."
"I didn't take any licenses. I purchased courses."
"Udemy Business' pricing is moderate."
