Centralized task tracking has transformed team collaboration and has saved significant time
The features or capabilities of AppSheet that I have found the most valuable include Freeze Panes, which is one of the most valuable features, and Dropdown, which is another valuable feature. Freeze Panes is extremely important because it freezes the first top row of the sheet. When I'm scrolling the sheet and going down, I can see the first row on the screen full time while scrolling to my data. This is a very beautiful feature of Google Sheets. Additionally, the dropdown feature allows me to write yes, no, and not applicable against a particular line item without typing every time by creating a dropdown. I write it once with yes, no, not applicable, and then I select that option. The real-time updates in AppSheet improve collaboration in my team because 40 people in the same department operate on a single Google Sheet. They all update their tasks, their projects, and everything on that same sheet, which is a massive leap in technology. Otherwise, I would be mailing a single Excel sheet to 40 people and getting everybody's input from them all manually, which would be extremely time-consuming. It's a massive technology jump when it comes to collaboration.

Integration processes improve but scripting requires effort
The updates, pricing part, and upgrades to the products are some of the most valuable features with the Salesforce Platform. With the Salesforce Platform, I have minimal experience of approximately one and a half years. I get minimal exposure, once every three or two months, especially during holidays. The Salesforce Platform is connected to the cloud, which is beneficial. When it is integrated with different tools such as Microsoft BI Analytics, it helps us analyze much better. Currently, the integration itself is tricky as we have to use extensive scripting. It should be more of a plug-in and use solution. That is the only issue I see, but otherwise, I appreciate it.

"I chose this solution because it was cheaper than other competitors, more flexible and safe."
"The solution has been very user friendly, easy to use, and we are able to use many applications like Excel or Google sheets."
"A feature I found most valuable in AppSheet is its intuitive UI/UX design, as that makes the platform very easy for customers to use. The solution also has a drag and drop feature that's quite good. I also found AppSheet integration with the cloud platform to be quite good."
"A feature I found most valuable in AppSheet is its intuitive UI/UX design, as that makes the platform very easy for customers to use."
"We have built a workflow using this solution to do our day-to-day operations and then monitor our agents in the field, and we are able to track their work when they do projects and when they finish their tasks, getting a report on all of this information which has definitely made life easier."
"The tool's integration capabilities enhance our existing workflows and as far as the workflows are concerned, I think it is pretty seamless, intuitive, and interactive."
"With Google, even if you find a bug or something, it is solved quickly."
"The solution has plenty of features that are useful."
"It is very user-friendly, and intuitive, it will lead you and take you to the next steps."
"Salesforce is cloud-based, so there's no installation involved. You simply log in using the provided organization login. There's no need for installation."
"Salesforce Platform overall helps me to track my business better."
"The most valuable aspect of the solution is the unit coordination between sales and marketing when it comes to lead management."
"Most of the apps allow you to try out the product before buying it. The trial period depends on the product and varies from a week to 30 days."
"It is a good product, and it has served us well."
"It is an easy product to use and does great things for our company. It keeps track of all of our sales activity."

Cons

"The solution needs to improve its SQL database capabilities."
"AppSheet should continue to make the tool's features easy to use, such as the ability to add additional notes or notifications."
"What I think could be improved or enhanced in AppSheet includes the timeline feature, as that is something which is a real pain point and not very efficient in Google Sheets."
"They could improve by providing more language support other than English especially the languages that written from right to left such as Arabic , integrate better with other databases, and provide a better UX."
"Stability is the leading risk. We can't ensure that the solution will last since, if Google decides something, it's finished."
"There needs to be an improvement in their operation vision. They need to see things more globally because at the moment they are very North-America focused. We do not always have mobile applications and the way we use them is slightly different in Africa from the way they use them in America."
"In terms of areas for improvement in AppSheet, I do many things with it, and I'm happy with its data features. The solution has good data features, and though some basic functions may not be there, AppSheet is good enough for me at the moment. I can use it in my business. I like it, and I'm still happy with it because I'm not using it intensively. I just use AppSheet for simple tasks rather than complex ones, though the solution has many use cases. In its next release, what could make the solution better would be more partners for integration, for example, integration with SAP, particularly plugins or APIs with more partners that it could integrate with. There should be an out-of-the-box feature built for integration with more partners."
"They only give a single sign-on at a very high cost."
"Getting reports in Salesforce is sometimes a little bit difficult. You need to do a lot of things to get detailed reports. This feature can be improved. Its price can also be improved. It is currently expensive."
"Salesforce is incredibly slow. It was difficult to run live sales calls and leverage Salesforce at the same time."
"Easier process to move to Lightning Components. There is a huge overtake of planning, testing and resources required to analyse what features would work."
"The initial setup is rather complex."
"Salesforce is a pretty cumbersome product. It's a product that you need to spend quite a bit of time customizing to your unique business model."
"The reporting for Salesforce could be approved. It is a manual process and it would be useful to have a guide or videos on how to generate reports or any other cool things that you could do with the platform."
"Reporting could be better. Reporting is Excel-based, and it has sucked since the inception of the company. That's why I was excited about the fact of them bringing MuleSoft into the fold and Tableau."
"It's all set up for us in a way that establishes our account. We need to tag ourselves to opportunities. You have to tag yourself to the opportunity manually; you need to find it yourself and tag it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is a license required to use this solution and it costs approximately $10 per user a month. I am paying $300 a month for 30 licenses."
"The tool is available at a low price."
"In terms of how much AppSheet costs, I'm currently on the free tier, but if I need to add more users to it in the future, I will go with the paid version."
"I chose this solution because it was cheaper than other competitors."
"The cost is reasonable for the corporations I work for. I would say an average would be around $100 per month per user."
"rice-wise, the solution is reasonable for what we're getting."
"I don't know anything about its cost, but I'm sure it has got a nice little price tag that goes along with it."
"The licensing is on the expensive side, but most clients engage in negotiations to reach a more favorable agreement. For stand-alone or medium-sized clients, it can be relatively costly."
"Salesforce does a user capacity analysis on a regular basis. For example, if you're not using certain areas, you may lose access. If you don't go in and quote and edit quotes, all of a sudden you may lose your rights to quote."
"Salesforce charges double the rates, or almost three times, compared to its competitors. Our company does incur additional charges for maintenance and support."
"Pricing for the Salesforce Platform is too expensive."
"The solution is fairly priced."
