Extremely stable and very scalable
The solution was far too expensive, which is why we ended up moving to a new vendor. The solution had slow connections and very bad routers. We continuously had issues with the VPN and proxy configuration. AT&T could simplify its user interface and log on. Typically, where you log on is independent of the solution, as long as you have had authorization. With this solution, you needed to configure a single entry point which wasn't ideal. The solution should have been able to integrate more easily with Microsoft.

Offers work-from-anywhere flexibility but navigates occasional proxy confusion
The analytics I downloaded from your site as a free download did not carry the information that was actually required. I was looking at the market segmentation and market share, along with some USPs which differentiated them from each other. The free download had two issues: many things were repetitive, and it was designed to not release any relevant information. Only headers were present, so I was not able to determine whether the final report would be worthwhile. I have not worked with enterprise tools that I could share feedback on for website publication. I see benefits from using Cisco Secure Client (including AnyConnect). However, I would not recommend it because future adoptions will be towards Zscaler, as SSC is a better model than VPN. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this solution a 7.

Pros

"The stability of the solution is its most valuable feature."
"You can use it from anywhere."
"The most useful feature of Cisco Secure Client is the capability for any kind of VPN, facilitating remote connections in the network."
"The solution is stable and reliable; there are no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze."
"It's fairly easy to set up."
"The solution is perfect for both large and small companies."
"Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is an excellent tool, easy to configure, and adapted to different devices, such as PCs, phones, tablets, etc., from both the IT administrator and the end user's perspective."
"Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client's most valuable feature is the ability to connect to our enterprise applications, on-premise applications, and cloud any place in the world."
"It is flexible and easy to use; you just need to enter the VPN details, and you can connect immediately and access what you need."

Cons

"The solution had slow connections and very bad routers. We continuously had issues with the VPN and proxy configuration."
"They can redesign the reset password, reset function, and user interface."
"The hotspots give me connectivity issues occasionally. It could be easier to use if it allowed me to choose the hotspot."
"I think that the addition of single sign-on functionality would be helpful."
"I would like a faster connection from the solution."
"We were going to use the Cisco AnyConnect with hardware tokens. However, right now, it's very complicated in terms of delivering the hardware token to the customer. That's why we are looking for a software token right now."
"In the next release, Cisco should add a chat feature."
"We have faced some connectivity issues."
"As with most Cisco products, standing by itself, this solution is not perfect."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Sometimes there is a problem with the number of licenses for the end-user. The number of concurrent users is limited due to a valid license."
"There is a license needed to use this solution. There are different licensing models available, such as a three-year license."
"My company has a three-year or a four-year license. In scenarios attached to a solution where the product may be reaching an end-of-support or end-of-life phase, Cisco provides OS support in such environments."
"It costs around 80,000 Indian rupees for a hundred licenses, so approximately $1,020 USD."
"We are in the North African region, and Cisco products are expensive for us. On a scale from one to ten with one being very affordable and ten being expensive, I'd rate the price at eight."
"The licensing costs are reasonable."
"The pricing depends on the requirement, so proper planning and an RF analysis help to properly size the solution and get the best pricing."
"The price is okay."
