Extremely stable and very scalable
The solution was far too expensive, which is why we ended up moving to a new vendor. The solution had slow connections and very bad routers. We continuously had issues with the VPN and proxy configuration. AT&T could simplify its user interface and log on. Typically, where you log on is independent of the solution, as long as you have had authorization. With this solution, you needed to configure a single entry point which wasn't ideal. The solution should have been able to integrate more easily with Microsoft.

The analytics I downloaded from your site as a free download did not carry the information that was actually required. I was looking at the market segmentation and market share, along with some USPs which differentiated them from each other. The free download had two issues: many things were repetitive, and it was designed to not release any relevant information. Only headers were present, so I was not able to determine whether the final report would be worthwhile. I have not worked with enterprise tools that I could share feedback on for website publication. I see benefits from using Cisco Secure Client (including AnyConnect). However, I would not recommend it because future adoptions will be towards Zscaler, as SSC is a better model than VPN. On a scale of 1-10, I rate this solution a 7.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The stability of the solution is its most valuable feature."
"It's a very scalable solution. We are using the maximum licensing they offer, and it's very affordable given the value."
"Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client's most valuable feature is the ability to connect to our enterprise applications, on-premise applications, and cloud any place in the world."
"Technical support is good."
"It does not slow down anything, unlike other solutions."
"Some of the main features of the solution are it has the ability to integrate with our Active Directory to allow each user to have one less password to have to remember and it has great functionality."
"We use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for all the enterprise VPNs, and our system is primarily based on a VPN with three-factor authentication to log into the applications that we work on for development."
"The most valuable feature of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is the one-click VPN connection, and additionally, the performance is good."
"You don't have to think about it very much. It just works."

Cons

"The solution had slow connections and very bad routers. We continuously had issues with the VPN and proxy configuration."
"We were going to use the Cisco AnyConnect with hardware tokens. However, right now, it's very complicated in terms of delivering the hardware token to the customer. That's why we are looking for a software token right now."
"The interface could be a little more modern looking and it would be nice for other users if it had easier integration."
"The support could be more proactive in their recommendations. I noticed that the Cisco support agents tend to leave customers to do what they need to do in many ways, and you can choose how you want to do it. However, it would be great if they could proactively be involved in best practices and let other customers know how most people are doing it."
"If you're just turning on your laptop, it should connect automatically without keying in the credentials."
"The company should try to catch up with their competitors like Palo Alto and Check Point, because they're falling behind."
"Every two weeks there was a new version to install which was annoying for the users."
"All Cisco equipment tends to be expensive compared to newer options from other vendors."
"The GUI really needs to be upgraded."

"It costs around 80,000 Indian rupees for a hundred licenses, so approximately $1,020 USD."
"There is a license needed to use this solution. There are different licensing models available, such as a three-year license."
