Drag-and-drop pipelines have saved days of work and now automate data movement and backfilling

If the AI features were more improved so that I don't have to provide each and every detail, Azure Data Factory could be improved in a much better way by improving the AI features. For example, if I want to fetch any data from a raw source, I need to provide each and every detail. But if I am just uploading my raw data and if AI will sync with that data, it can analyze that data and give me proper suggestions on how that should be done in a proper way. Automatic suggestions could improve in a much better way. As I have mentioned, the AI features as well as more drag-and-drop activities could be improved. If I am making a pipeline, it should give me suggestions, such as which activity should be used, so that I don't have to remember each activity. If I have used one activity, I shouldn't have to remember what activity should I use next. It should give auto-suggestions. That is why I have given a nine out of 10. Currently, I don't know about its governance and security, but in view of its improvement, I think Azure Data Factory should improve in these areas. As I already mentioned, the AI features should be improved. Also, the auto-suggestion features should also improve.

The best features Denodo offers stand out to me as the ability to develop REST web services fast and easily, create and combine new views, integrate different sources of data, and connect with other tools seamlessly. When I mention fast and easy creation of views and integration, I love the agile data provisioning and integration, where Denodo provides a comprehensive set of capabilities for implementing logical data integration, management, and delivery, which in turn enables agile data analytics and an informed decision-making process to be smooth. I also appreciate the performance optimization with AI, which improves performance optimization through the integration of artificial intelligence capabilities. Furthermore, I appreciate the unified security and governance, where it addresses the need for an organization to effectively manage security, data privacy, and data protection easily, offering a centralized platform that allows the application of governance policies and fine-grained security controls. Another feature I would add about Denodo is that it also provides a single point of control where we can establish security controls over the entire infrastructure and gain visibility into all our data assets. Denodo has positively impacted my organization as since we started using this tool, it has been very helpful because it is a huge advantage that we can connect to many different databases to provide data rapidly and accurately and also gain insights, which helps us to make data-driven decisions easily. It has proven to be a valuable environment for deploying data virtualization solutions, and its user community is active in finding and fixing issues more accurately. Through data insights from Denodo, we have been able to improve our decision making, which helps to better communication between the stakeholders thanks to the real-time experience. It also saves a lot of time.

Greetings, Stefan. Alteryx is basically an ETL tool that evolved to deliver some Data Viz and ML features too. This means that its main purpose is to extract data from different sources, combine and transform them and finally load them in a different database.Denodo is a data virtualization tool, which means it does all the transformations without extracting from one place and loading to another one. It´s a cloud-based solution and it charges by the traffic. If your company has specific General Data Protection Regulation that prohibits for instance that you extract the data located in a data center in Europe and loading them in a cluster located in the USA, you will probably need a virtualization tool like Denodo instead of an ETL like Alteryx. Virtualization tools are usually more expensive in a long run Azure Data Factory is a platform meant to leverage the use of Azure. Microsoft´s objective is to sell its cloud solution as a whole. It contains a Data Studio (to manage and control your data), SPARK (which is a Hadoop in memory) and a data lake storage.As you see, those are 3 different products that do not make much sense to be used together.
