Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages
We use the application filtering, content filtering, and intrusion prevention system (IPS) features. These features are crucial for our network security. The ease of installation and licensing are also significant advantages, as it allows us to have one license for all products, which simplifies upgrading and maintenance. Additionally, the ease of deployment is critical for us.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"You will always have a backup copy of any policy the Bitdefender user defines."
"The product offers an opportunity to monitor the things happening in our network. It also has a comprehensive dashboard."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"The solution is very scalable."
"The authentication part is seamless and easy for people."
"It's a very powerful solution and the firewalls offer high performance"
"One of Juniper vSRX's most valuable features is its integration with safety applications. It keeps the software secure from developers without relying on third-party solutions."
"The technical support services are excellent."
"There are a few valuable features that offer very good quality on the solution. Especially NetScreen. We used to use NetScreen for the the product line. It was a very mature solution, very robust, easy to configure, easy to manage, etc. It made it easy to do everything."
"The product's scalability is good, and my company has 150 users."
"The support is excellent."
"It is easy for me to go in and update settings, make changes, or add/remove rules or security."

Cons

"The price of the bandwidth here is very expensive compared to European countries."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security could improve the RDP, I have problems sometimes."
"The solution's stability could be better."
"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"The dashboard can be improved."
"The solution's GUI needs improvement."
"They could provide support for cloud deployments."
"he stability could be improved."
"The solution should consider improving its licensing policies."
"I would suggest improving the pricing, particularly the licensing model."
"Right now, we are going through issues and problems where the product gets dropped with the connection or during the authentication initial phase. While it could be our problem, we would like to see more stability in this area."
"The reporting can be improved."
"Fortinet is more user friendly than Juniper. In terms of remote access, I actually prefer using Fortinet. It's much easier to configure."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"The license is yearly."
"In terms of the licensing costs associated with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security, the agreement was made nearly three years ago, but from what I recall, the figure was around €6,000 to €7,000 for three years, including support for two hundred endpoints."
"The general basic price is roughly $1.20 for a license with Bitdefender."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"We like pricing through the AWS Marketplace."
"The solution is pricey."
"The solution could have been cheaper."

"The solution is inexpensive."
"Our experience purchasing the solution through the AWS Marketplace was good."
