Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Effective threat predictions, simple to deploy, and light on resources
Malwarebytes's initial setup is simple. It is easy to deploy and configure the policies and the configuration. I deployed Malwarebytes for one customer and I did it in under two days. They had approximately 50 users, it took approximately an hour. The steps I took for the implementation were downloading the Malwarebytes management console from the site, installing it, then running the discovery tool, scanning my network, and checking all of the PCs on my network. It's already pre-configured, you don't need to configure anything. The only configuration that I did on the administration console was some of the exclusion from the scan. This is the only rule that I have created. I rate the initial setup of Malwarebytes a ten out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Security for malware and threats is the most valuable feature."
"We use patch management to keep our software up-to-date, significantly mitigating our risk of vulnerabilities. We're confident that Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security will either already know about new threats and have updated our machines, or they'll advise us quickly on mitigating them until an update is available."
"The most valuable feature is the IDS."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"The most valuable features of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security are remote administration and deployment, comprehensive firewall protection, malware protection, and antivirus."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security has a lot of telemetry that allows me to really see what's going on with the device."
"Ten times a day, improved signatures will be downloaded, so it is very up-to-date in terms of malware experience."
"It comprehensively finds and removes malicious software."
"The central management of devices from different sites is a very good feature; this has made them much easier to manage."
"It gets the job done, and they are consistently updating it monthly."
"The platform is straightforward to install."
"The most valuable features of Malwarebytes are the EDR and the complete feature set provided."
"We don't have to spend any time remediating bad things happening: Not viruses nor ransomware."
"The technical support services are good."

Cons

"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"The lack of detecting security threats and high memory usage need to be improved."
"The price has increased marginally recently and I would prefer if they didn't raise rates."
"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"We had experienced a crash and had to reinstall it."
"I like the Application Control feature, but it's a bit tricky. Managing it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"Potential areas for improvement could be more accessible and immediate support for critical situations, especially considering the regulatory challenges in healthcare."
"This solution reports far too many false positives!"
"I would like to see integration with other vendors going forward."
"I would like to see a little more detail in the log. So, when an event occurs, I'd like to know not just when it happened and on what device, but what activity was taking place on the machine at the time so that we can drill down. If we get a false positive, we have to do a lot of research and go back and forth with our end-users to know why it was a false positive. So, having a little more detail around detections and events would probably be my most asked feature."
"The stability and performance of the solution are areas with shortcomings that need improvement."
"The product update capability needs to be improved."
"It would be better if updates could be downloaded, and deployed, on-premises to avoid low bandwidth causing issues."
"I really hate the automatic rebuilding without even asking. It's just an annoyance that they should at least ask me, like a month before they bill me."
"We experience a lot of false positives."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing costs can vary."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The general basic price is roughly $1.20 for a license with Bitdefender."
"The solution is reasonable and is nominally priced in accordance with the features that offer to the market."
"The price is fair."
"I rate the tool's pricing a five out of ten."
"I believe the retail price is between $40 and $50 per copy."
"Malwarebytes is a cost-effective product."
"The platform pricing is competitive with other antivirus products."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price and ten is a high price, I rate the product's pricing a seven."
"It is expensive."
"Its licensing is annual. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
"The licensing is per seat, with clients being a little less expensive than servers. If we need more licenses, we can accomplish that within a day. As Malwarebytes adds new features to their product, such as DNS filtering and a patching module, they want to charge us more even though we're a premium user, which isn't ideal."
