Accurate 3D heart mapping has reduced radiation and enables safer ablation procedures
At the moment, CARTO is performing really well, but in certain points such as AF ablation, they can improve the ablation point for scar VT base to reduce the time. The technology is absolutely fine. From a support point of view, the company can improve because at the moment, there are few technicians around the world who can assist the doctor in terms of the physiologist. They can provide more training and train more people to use CARTO, in terms of doctors and physiologists. There is a need for improvement. No one is perfect. They are nearly perfect but not 100%. There are still some things they have to improve in terms of the catheter. If they work on the catheter, they can reduce the time of special VT ablation, scar VT, and AF ablation.

Centralized dashboards have transformed workforce trend analysis and speed up decisions
Tableau Enterprise helps us to consolidate the data and visualize daily and weekly trends in a clear and centralized dashboard, offering powerful features such as interactive dashboards, real-time data refreshing, advanced visual analytics, role-based access control, secure data, and seamless interaction with multiple data sources and automated reports. This will help us to analyze trends and collaborate across teams and scale analytics across the organization. These features help my team specifically by centralizing all employees' data in one place. This helps us reduce manual tracking and gives us real-time visibility into work from home versus office trends. The interactive dashboards allow quick decision-making, and the automated refresh time saves us a lot, while role-based access ensures data is shared securely with the right stakeholders. Tableau Enterprise has had a strong positive impact on our organization by improving data visibility, speeding up decision-making, and managing reports efficiently. The team can now access and track trends more effectively, and collaboration has improved using interactive dashboards. Overall, it has enhanced effectiveness and fostered a data-driven culture across the organization. The specific outcomes showing this positive impact include speeding up decision-making, which is the biggest impact because it saves us more time. Reporting time actually reduces sequentially since the dashboards refresh automatically. Data security is stronger, and data accuracy has improved, thanks to a centralized data source. Decision-making is also much faster since leaders can view real-time impacts instead of waiting for manual entry.

"Working with the CARTO team has made a positive impact because they are helpful with setting the room up and tearing it down, and they are always really personable and down to earth."

"CARTO offers a very specific and reliable mapping system, which is the advantage it has over other companies."
"From the organization perspective for whom we were doing this project, CARTO saved them a lot of hassle and tons of money because the information we provided based on maybe a twenty to thirty day research using the software would have required at least six to eight months of the same amount of research."
"We were able to expose data and relationships that we otherwise couldn't do in our enterprise system silos and, from that perspective, we were incredibly successful in really driving performance."
"We are much more nimble in our ability to provide tactical data and deploy scalable enterprise dashboards and visualizations to staff within the organization."
"When compared with Power BI, Tableau is much easier."
"It has helped us tremendously with our everyday reporting and things like that."
"Its dashboarding is the most valuable. It is easy to create visualizations and dashboards and import Excel sheets and ESP files in Tableau as compared to other tools."
"Self-service: Its ease of use means Tableau can be operated by business users."
"It is easy to use, and it can handle a large amount of data."
"The most valuable feature of this product is its visualizations."

Cons

"The PIU that CARTO depends on is frequently complained about by doctors because it is really easy to have a false alarm or sometimes it just stops working, and everything in the map becomes frozen."
"My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that it is CARTO's biggest problem."
"One major aspect we found as a hindrance was the pricing; it felt too expensive for us."
"I chose eight out of ten for CARTO because it would make it a ten for me if the treatment duration can compete with the time duration of PFA."
"CARTO today has few features that depend on artificial intelligence, and the features that are said to be artificial intelligence do not seem to me to be so, as there is still a lot to improve regarding the offering of artificial intelligence."
"As a new user, I found that some of the more advanced geospatial analysis features have a bit of a learning curve."
"Regarding CARTO's AI capabilities, I think the accuracy and reliability of output could be improved because I experienced latency, where simple queries took five or six minutes to process or sometimes the API became unresponsive."
"Regarding CARTO's AI capabilities, I trust it, but not at one hundred percent because I do not know all the third parties around the data, and I wish to know more about it."
"There should be stronger data modules for the platform."
"Requires a lot of user training."
"Difficulty when moving outside of the norm where workarounds are needed."
"Some of our clients are looking for better UI when using Tableau as they often work with this solution directly."
"Performance-wise, Tableau is good but it could always be better."
"I don't have the ability in Tableau to create a tooltip and see the picture of a piece of jewelry or watch that is a best seller."
"Only with SAP BW data sources."
"With Tableau, when you're dealing with very large datasets, it can be slow so the performance is an area that can be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"Tableau is an expensive solution compared to Power BI."
"Its cost is quite high. A corporate license costs about 150-200K per year for all the users, but there was probably some discounted amount. This cost includes everything."
"The cost of the solution should be improved."
"The license is very expensive."
"Tableau is an expensive solution."
"Tableau is free."
"I like the payment model. For the people who need to create, they buy their licenses. Everyone else can use the free Tableau Viewer. This is much better than some of the competitor products, which require full licences for everything."
"The price of this solution could definitely be lower. It's quite expensive."
