Can be well-integrated with the existing systems in a company and is very intuitive to use
I once faced a problem with the tool, but I remember that I managed to work without a VPN, and then the problem with the product was sorted out somehow. An option to connect not only with the username and password but also through SMS in an easy manner is something that needs to be added to the tool. When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive. In other platforms, the user will have two options to connect, one of which is with a username and password, and the other one is with an SMS.

Security monitoring has improved and protects mission-level mac segments for critical users
Currently, I am not using this because it is mandated on Office 365, which we are not currently maintaining. We are just using the manage feature, so it is not something we control. We are using Cisco SecureClient for VPN. Symantec Endpoint Encryption is only used at the MAC level segment for the B Mission levels for security purposes, and it is only from the ten user perspective. It is straightforward and not complex. I would rate the complexity as a seven, but I would rate the product itself as a nine. We have approximately fifty thousand in budget. Better security methods are valuable features that we can suggest, as everything is under liability. My overall review rating for this solution is nine out of ten.

"The most valuable feature of Check Point Full Disk Encryption Software Blade is hard disk protection."
"The solution provides complete security for one's workstation."
"This software has helped individuals in the organization avoid data loss."
"The solution is pretty reliable."
"Its ability to provide a security layer of encryption that allows us to prevent unauthorized access to computers."
"One notable aspect is the ability to customize alerts and other settings."
"This product is a solid, all-in-one solution for enterprise data management."
"Symantec Endpoint Encryption is an all-in-one solution that is completely expandable."
"The initial setup was easy."
"In general terms, it is working properly and according to our expectations. The comfort of feeling secure is the most valuable. Some customers had certain fears about changing the product because no one wants to lose any kind of information or to have some problems or inconsistencies while migrating from one product to another."
"The installation process is pretty straightforward."
"The stability seems to be okay, it works as it was designed to, there are no bugs or glitches, it doesn't crash or freeze, and it's reliable."
"The management console gives us the ability to quickly control who sees what, ensures we are on the latest version, and up-to-date."

Cons

"The cost of maintaining the system is high for personal use."
"I would like to bring centralized management to mobile devices."
"The encryption is fast; however, when it comes to generating decryption of the OS disks, it is sometimes very slow, generating a loss of time."
"The solution is overpriced."
"I rate the support from Check Point Full Disk Encryption Software Blade a six out of ten."
"Regarding the general topic of support, many have annoyances with it."
"In the future, I would like to see is the ability to decrypt equipment."
"When I changed the way I connect to the tool to the SMS option, I did it because I bought a new phone, and it had a problem connecting with the tool, after which I had to go to the settings to change it, so I felt it was not very intuitive."
"There are other solutions in the market that have new features. The feature could improve."
"Currently, the on-premises version is tricky and difficult."
"They have too high of a price tag. That's why they're losing the market share."
"There are some issues with the single sign-on with the active directory. We had a few problems related to the synchronization between the active directory and the login features of the Symantec products because the users made many password changes during the day. The time for synchronization with the solutions can be improved. I would like to see mobile encryption. There should be a possibility to include all the mobiles of a company in the console. Many customers are asking about encryptions for tablets or cell phones, but we don't have any product that we are comfortable with to recommend to our customers."
"I would like to have less frequent updates."
"I can only patch monthly. I don't know what the solution is there, besides being vulnerable for three weeks out of four. But there's got to be an option somehow."
"The solution does slow down the device a little bit, once it's installed."
"Currently, their support is less and slow. If I open any case, it is handled after two or three days, but their support will improve in the next two or three months."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"As it costs $125 per workstation per year, something which is above the price of what the competition is charging, the solution is definitely too expensive."
"The solution is good, but it is more expensive than other solutions in the market. Other solutions, such as BitLocker are less expensive."
"The cost of this solution is a little on the higher side."
"They have two solutions for encryption including Symantec Endpoint Encryption and PGP Endpoint Encryption. With one PGP license, you can deploy the two solutions. The PGP license gives you two options."
"There is a license required for this solution."
"Considering the fluctuation in exchange rates in our part of the world, we find it generally affordable."
"The pricing is fair but there is variability in our area that needs to be addressed."
"The licensing costs yearly are $5000."
"The license is not very expensive."
