Achieve certifications with progress tracking and potential for enhanced interactivity
I was using Claroty to complete training assigned by my company. The courses were self-paced and helped me get certified in two additional certifications. I plan to use it further as I have a task list for future courses. It was primarily for certification and study materials The feature I like…

Effective asset management improves OT security by quantifying risks and identifying unauthorized communications
Nozomi Networks currently offers add-ons, such as ARP agents, that can be installed on machines to expand the information we receive from sensors. However, these are part of a licensing structure, which can be costly. It would be very helpful if these agents were available free of charge. The solution itself has no major problems, but this is a feature request I would make for improvement.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Claroty provides continuous threat protection and identifies pre-empty stuff and false positives."
"I believe the two main aspects where Claroty stands out are their ability to provide a complete platform and their OT-specific focus."
"The platform ensures security without imposing significant delays."
"I appreciate the active coding, deep inspection of packages, and data retrieval. The tool covers information about assets and attack vectors, which I find superior to other tools. Based on alerts, I create reports detailing how an attacker can penetrate the plant, both externally and internally."
"The product helps mitigate potential threats, especially if its users have signature rules. The product also provides alerts."
"Claroty identifies all vulnerabilities available in our environment."
"Claroty assigns a score based on how well you are doing in the course. If you skip a video, your score decreases, making it essential to watch the content attentively."
"The solution's most valuable feature is the map, which shows everything that is connected and communicates with each other."
"The most valuable feature of Nozomi Networks is its security features."
"It has impacted security operations in a better way."
"The tool's visibility is good. We can see the traffic flow."
"I chose Nozomi because it is far ahead of other competitors, like Curator and Elastic."
"Provides security for our operational technology environment for OT and IoT."
"Nozomi Networks is an easy-to-use and powerful tool."
"The feature I like best is its stability."
"The most valuable features of Nozomi Networks are the visibility of OT protocols and the versatility in finding the details of the assets feeding the tool."

Cons

"The Claroty Platform becomes too noisy when it gives numerous CVEs related to vendor match. Sometimes, these CVEs are not actually related to the device in the firmware at the site."
"The product could be improved in terms of user interface design."
"For improvement, I think the training could be more practical. We have external training, but they're mostly theoretical. I want the solution to provide hands-on lab experience to help users learn better."
"The graphical user interface is quite poor."
"Introducing an AI chatbot to assist you when you have doubts could be beneficial."
"There is room for improvement in the user interface to make it more vibrant and interactive, similar to IT tools. Improvements could also be made in the Secure Remote Access (SRA) user interaction and graphical representations of recordings."
"I think the only issue is that the hardware Claroty uses is expensive."
"Occasionally, I face a login problem despite entering the correct password."
"Nozomi Networks should improve its pricing."
"It should support more programmable logic controllers (PLCs)."
"Creating custom queries is time-consuming."
"Proof of concept could be improved. It could be more tangible to the customer and the end users to have a video presentation or something like that."
"I believe there is room for improvement regarding on-premises AI."
"The solution should include an integration library."
"Nozomi Networks currently offers add-ons, such as ARP agents, that can be installed on machines to expand the information we receive from sensors. However, these are part of a licensing structure, which can be costly."
"I would like more customizable options for configurations."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing for physical devices is cheap, but the software version is expensive. The software version costs around 26-28 dollars. I was surprised and even double-checked. It was shocking."
"It's a bit expensive compared to other solutions."
"The tool is quite expensive."
"I have not seen any competition in terms of pricing, and it is quite reasonable."
"The solution's pricing is good and cheaper than that of Claroty."
