Provides strong authentication feature, which requires users to enter a one-time password (OTP)
The main issue I've noticed pertains to setting up the desktop client on virtual machines in Azure, GCP, or AWS, specifically for Entrust Identity Enterprise intended for on-premises use. It works for on-premises, but I'm not sure if it's fully supported in cloud environments. If support were added, it would function perfectly with on-premises configurations. So, it functions well on-premises, but integrating it with cloud services like AWS or Azure could be challenging. There are issues with cloud integrations, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Empower users with robust IT security and seamless approval workflows
I raise requests on SailPoint, for example, if there is any server-related access needed. I use it more as an end-user, like raising simple tickets for identity access management SailPoint is more focused on IT security. I find that the approvals that flow through SailPoint are much better than…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I am impressed with Entrust because they are one of the most advanced identity access management companies. Their portfolio of products is well aligned with the CISA zero trust framework. If you compare the features of Entrust products with the CISA pillars of zero trust, you'll see that they're perfectly matched with CISA requirements."
"It is a scalable solution. You can add users and credentials without problems."
"This solution is flexible and easy to use for our clients. We use it with different kinds of applications and integrate it with different processes."
"Entrust is an enterprise account, and they have a support system. Their training is also top-notch, and they are willing to share their knowledge with their partners."
"The integration matrix of the solution is huge compared to others."
"Deployment takes a bit of time, however, once it's done properly, everything becomes very organized and easy to use."
"It reduces the operational overhead of audits."
"The big one now is that they're adding AI and machine learning to figure out automated approvals and make recommendations to their reviewers. So, if I bring up Doug McPherson and it says he has access to this application, the system will make a review based on peer group analysis. That's one of the biggest new things. The problem used to be that people would get everything loaded on, and they created too much work for themselves. Now, they can use these policies and start to let the machine pick the less risky things."
"The most powerful feature of the solution is its platform-based approach. Unlike other solutions, this tool offers a high level of customization. It is an open and flexible platform, allowing users to tailor it to their needs. This ability to customize and adapt the solution to individual requirements makes the solution stand out as a powerful product."
"I find the built-in connectors, lifecycle management, certification, and recertification features to be the most valuable."
"It provides a lot of out-of-the-box functionalities. You don't have to do too much custom development like other solutions such as Microsoft or NetIQ. It also has a lot of out-of-the-box connectors for different sources, directories, databases, etc. Its cloud version is working very well, and its pricing is okay. Its value for money is fine for most of the customers. It is also very flexible. They have frequent new releases and patches for fixing errors and things like that."
"The support is very good."
"It is a scalable product."

Cons

"It functions well on-premises, but integrating it with cloud services like AWS or Azure could be challenging. There are issues with cloud integrations, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP."
"The product is very costly compared to other alternative solutions."
"I would like to improve the tool's implementation and pricing."
"We are introducing new processes and are migrating to a new version. Once we explore new functionalities, we'll be able to assess what could be improved."
"I would like to see more Cloud management from this product."
"They can work on their strategy for the on-premise version. They have to decide whether and for how long they will support the on-premise version. The new features first appear in the cloud, and after that, they are released for the on-premise version. In the cloud, you have more options and flexibility, which is absolutely normal. They have to have a clear strategy regarding whether they'll support the on-premises version with the same focus. The licensing for on-premise and cloud is a little bit different. They can make it the same."
"I would rate the vendor support around five out of ten. Sometimes, the support is slow, and they often suggest resorting to expert services."
"The product is unable to share suggestions with users."
"It is not readily available and cannot be downloaded from the net."
"The product’s cloud offering could be flexible."
"We faced some issues while integrating the solution with a third-party tool."
"It allowed to implement the automated processes when a new employee is hired. It allows to have a main central process for new hires."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's worth the money."
"The subscription could be yearly or monthly, depending upon your choice."
"I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
"It is affordable licensing."
"I rate the solution a seven on a scale where one is cheap and ten is too expensive. In short, the solution falls under the higher side of pricing."
"Usually, the cost of deploying about 5,000 licenses or 5,000 users, would be the equivalent to the cost of the license, which would be reaching up to around $90,000."
"The pricing is based on the number of users and is reasonable."
"SailPoint IdentityIQ is highly-priced, and I rate it an eight out of ten for pricing."
"As per my knowledge, it runs on a paid partnership model, but I am not sure about it."
"I found the pricing to be relatively high."
"They are expensive."
