Advanced sandboxing has protected users from zero-day threats and has simplified secure file scanning
The smooth integrations between Fortinet FortiSandbox and other Fortinet solutions such as FortiWeb and FortiFirewall and with other Fortinet environments are what I really appreciate. We have minimum false positives during threat detection. Our clients have not given negative feedback from detection. As you know, it still needs some tuning after implementation. However, we never receive negative feedback for many false positives during implementation.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of the solution is that the performance it offers to users is good, making it useful for us in our company."
"One of the valuable features is its ability to detect new threats."
"Integration is one of the solution's most valuable aspects. You can integrate even third-party solutions so that they can send the information or files they quarantine through the FortiSandbox"
"It is an easily scalable solution."
"The adapter is beneficial as it allows integration with various devices, not just Fortinet."
"FortiSandbox helps us handle unknown threats. Every vendor is competing for who can detect an unknown threat the fastest. Fortinet is competitive in the market."
"We have seen a measurable decrease in the mean time to detect or respond to threats, on the order of 20 percent."
"It is a stable solution."
"IP tracing is the most valuable feature."

Cons

"If we can have more dashboards, it would be good."
"For the MSSPs, it would be great if the product could display all the threat chains on a dashboard since it is an area where the tool is currently lacking."
"The product is good but it could be speedier. In addition, it's quite complex."
"The integration is limited. The solution needs to offer better integration with multiple vendors."
"It can be difficult if you need to use the Command Line Interface (CLI). It's much easier if you only have to deal with the GUI."
"At least once a week we have a false alarm. This needs to be adjusted so that we get fewer of these occurrences."
"The reporting tools could be improved in Fortinet FortiSandbox."
"For additional features, maybe a form of execution pain files in a non-virtual environment because it has threats that identify when it is being run in a virtual machine."
"The technical support needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of Fortinet FortiSandbox is not expensive."
"There are additional costs, which isn't included in the licensing fee."
"The solution is unavailable at a lower cost and can be difficult to deploy."
"There is a license to use this solution."
"The price of Fortinet FortiSandbox is expensive."
"The solution is not expensive at all."
"The price is competitive."
