Provides efficient test automation for web applications and has good technical support services
The platform's most valuable features include its recorder, which allows users to create test cases with minimal effort, significantly simplifying the process. Vision AI enhances image recognition capabilities, improving the accuracy and efficiency of visual testing. The audit trail feature helps track changes and maintain compliance, which is particularly important in regulated industries. Smart fix automatically resolves issues, reducing manual intervention, while the self-healing feature ensures that test cases remain accurate and functional, even when system changes occur.

Automation has delivered strong ROI with AI-driven test prioritization and parallel reporting
The best feature of Worksoft Certify is the automatic report generation. Unlike traditional tools like Selenium or Java-based frameworks where reporting often requires custom coding, Certify handles this natively. We are currently utilizing the 14.5 version, which has modernized these capabilities, though we frequently manage backward compatibility for clients still running on the 12.x version series.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The platform's most valuable features include its recorder, which allows users to create test cases with minimal effort, significantly simplifying the process."
"We save probably 50 percent of our time, the tool does what it's supposed to do, and we are able to actually work."
"The most valuable feature is its time saving, because once development is complete, the short time that it takes to execute a test is invaluable and saves a number of dollars and man-hours."
"Worksoft is a good tool to start with as it is a codeless tool."
"One big advantage of Worksoft Certify is its integration with SAP Solution Manager..."
"Now we can do a regression test suite in ten days as opposed to sixteen weeks."
"Overall, I find the product cost-effective and it does bring the return on investment."
"The main benefit that Worksoft Certify provides for me as an end user is scriptless automation, which is very important because there is no coding involved in it."
"It is highly scalable and reusable. It is easy for team members to maintain and use with confidence. There is great versatility."

Cons

"The solution currently does not support mobile applications. It would significantly improve its versatility."
"Although I don't think it would be easy, being able to edit and change an action and logic flow in mid-test execution would be nice."
"Worksoft Certify's support team should respond more promptly when we are stuck with certain issues and looking for a solution."
"Another negative of this tool is that its license is costly. It is a bit more expensive than other tools."
"They need to keep working on the mobile interface, the API part, and they need to improve more on web applications."
"For the couple of the issues that we were really scratching our heads over, we were in communication with the technical support several times, but they never got back to us."
"Better automation capability would be helpful."
"On the Capture 2.0 topic, we were not satisfied, because we had a version that wasn't really tested from my perspective."
"I would rate the stability as a seven out of ten. If there is a test script I'm running five times, I have apprehension that it might not be successful five times."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product helps reduce overall costs by decreasing reliance on manual testers and speeding up testing cycles."
"Worksoft Certify is priced higher than most tools."
"We ended up buying too many licenses. They were very good at selling it to us, and probably oversold it a little. We bought 45 licenses and have never used more than twenty. However, they gave us a pretty significant discount on the bigger license, so it made sense for us to buy enough that we wouldn't have to go back and ask for more."
"We have an annual license for this solution. The product is very expensive."
"On our last big SAP implementation project, we inserted an automation resource into the beginning of the project. Between automating regression processes, data staging, and using our automation to help repair cutover and conversion issues. We saved the project about $1,700,000."
"We no longer need ten people sitting and manually testing something. We can just have one person running the entire regression automation testing suite, and this has saved us dollars."
"The initial upfront cost in terms of licenses, plus all the money that we spent developing tests, has proven it's worth. Now, we can do a regression test suite in ten days as opposed to sixteen weeks."
"The tool is not really good at all because you need to purchase some additional tools."
"We save probably 50 percent of our time. The tool does what it's supposed to do, and we are able to actually work."
