Seamless collaboration has improved how I manage assignments, deadlines, and class resources
Google Classroom has the very best feature of assignment workflow, which is its core strength. I can create it, assign it, submit it, and have a grade on it all in one flow, so there is nothing to be changed. It also has real-time collaboration, allowing multiple students to work on the same documentation or assignment simultaneously, and the teacher can also see that and comment live. It has an automatic file management system where I can save my work, which is important because sometimes I do an assignment and forget to save, losing those assignments. This feature includes built-in video learning, allowing me to directly join classrooms via Google Classroom. It also supports Google Forms, Google Slides, and is very mobile-friendly. Google Classroom has reduced time in task tracking because I can have clear ownership and deadlines for everything. It has helped me to appreciate structured workflows by ticketing systems and improved collaborations, allowing many people to work together. I can understand that time has also been reduced. It has a limited impact on deep technical skills, but that is also good. It has helped me to understand structured workflow and utilize real-time features through Google Docs and Drive.

Integrated employee data has improved HR coordination but reporting and interface still need work
The GUI of SAP SuccessFactors Learning is still not very good. The drop-downs are too limited. One thing I want to have is an advisory banner with highlighted font that employees can visibly see during login, but support indicated this cannot be done. I have already raised this request to the support team, and they mentioned that the same request has come from other companies.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Google Classroom is very effective for communication and excellent for assigning homework and resources."
"The product's initial setup phase was easy."
"What I liked most about Google Classroom is it was very easy to communicate with the students and simple for me to learn even though it was the first time I was using it. I was able to learn the features very well by navigating through the different discussions forums and becoming proficient, not necessarily a master but knowledgeable in using the solution. The ease of use was the best feature."
"Google Classroom is a good start if you are only starting with VLE."
"I can see all the submissions in a central place."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is its performance."
"If you're only looking at it from the standpoint of assigning a unique copy to students and giving out information, then Google Classroom is the best."
"I would definitely recommend this product, especially for K12 schools, because as an online solution it is very simple and very easy, and even year three, four, or five students can manage to go there and log in without any problem."
"I find the user interface user-friendly compared to the initial application."
"SAP SuccessFactors Learning is highly scalable."
"One valuable aspect of SAP SuccessFactors Learning is its stability and established customer base, particularly evident in modules like Employee Central."
"The most valuable feature for us in SAP SuccessFactors is the Performance Management module."
"SAP SuccessFactors Learning is highly stable and it is used by many companies."
"The most valuable features are continuous performance, activities, achievements, objectives for performance appraisal, and development learning."
"The implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Learning has definitely impacted our operational efficiency and cost savings."
"The solution's most valuable feature is tracking."

Cons

"The product's UI needs improvement."
"The initial setup of Google Classroom is straightforward. The deployment took us two to three months because we had to train the faculty."
"There can often be language barriers when you're not dealing with local technical support, which can be challenging."
"The initial setup is not very easy. It has modern complexity."
"There are certain things that I can do on PowerPoint that I cannot do on Google Presentations and Google Slides, such as using PowerPoint's animation feature, I have found that PowerPoint is generally more feature-rich and offers a wider range of tools that I can use to prepare and enhance my presentations."
"Managing a larger environment of assignments or classes can become cluttered, and the notification system can sometimes be overwhelming."
"Google Classroom could improve by being easier to use. For example, making it functional with only a few buttons. It's difficult to know how to connect with students and make a link and share it with them. I found it difficult, and this is why I didn't continue using it. Additionally, it should be available to be downloaded to the desktop for use, similar to Zoom."
"There are a lot of things that need to be fixed in order for it to be called a learning management system."
"What needs improvement in SAP SuccessFactors Learning is the user interface. The user management and the integration of the whole suite could also be improved. The solution also needs to be modernized because at the moment, it's a little bit outdated. It's old-fashioned, and though it has a data import feature, that's just plain outdated. SAP SuccessFactors Learning doesn't have any cutting-edge features."
"The product needs to improve its escalation system."
"The product's configuration process needs improvement."
"We encounter challenges when connecting with external systems and moving from one platform to another within SAP."
"I am talking about SAP in general, so there are multiple screens that you have to go through, and it takes some time to get used to it."
"The consultants implementing this solution could be more knowledgeable."
"SuccessFactors Learning solely serves as a plain learning experience platform without any pre-existing content."
"The technical support team has room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of Google Classroom has been reasonable."
"We did not need a license to use Google Classroom."
"The product offers a yearly based license."
"If you do a certain size and build, it's like any Google solution. You have to pay for storage, but you don't need to pay extra to use the interface. There may be Google Classroom partners that provide more integrated solutions, but I don't know. I'm strictly DIY."
"The solution is affordable."
"Google Classroom is a free solution."
"Google Classroom is free to use."
"The product is free."
"The tool's licensing model is very straightforward...You will get the relevant mail from SAP, and accordingly, you have to proceed with the provisioning enablement, after which you can start the configuration."
"Compared to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors Learning is not an expensive solution."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing a one out of ten."
"The pricing changes and the license amount is quite costly."
"A company is required to pay annual licensing fees."
"I rate the price for SAP SuccessFactors Learning an eight out of ten, with ten being the highest."
"The additional costs in the solution are based on usage and in regard to the functionalities or services leveraged."
"The licensing cost for SAP SuccessFactors Learning is rather expensive, but it's not the only SAP tool my company uses in the suite, so it's very hard to compare prices."
