A scalable solution which is easy to install and use
I do not use the solution personally as I am not the end-user. It is merely one of the solutions that we offer to our customers. We act as consultants, solution providers. We have around 60 customers who are using the solution. I would, for sure, recommend the solution to others. I consider the profile of the project to be quite good at the moment. I rate Another Monday as a nine out of ten.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The initial setup is very quick."
"The solution is very easy to use."
"UiPath has helped us link legacy Oracle systems that have little connectivity through other integration methods."
"It offers an advanced and in-depth set of features, allowing for intricate and specific automation tasks."
"In my experience, I would say that it is the best platform for people who are willing to learn to automate."
"The features that are most valuable are Excel Automation, Web Automation, Web Scrapping, and CV Automation."
"The biggest advantage of UiPath is its user-friendly environment."
"The automation and the customization of the platform are the most valuable features."
"Customer support is a bright spot and helps give users confidence in the solution."
"Automation can be done in many ways, but UiPath is a more simple approach. There, any layman can learn how to program in UiPath, which is its main benefit."

Cons

"The solution should come with language customization, which would simplify its use for our customers."
"The solution should come with language customization, which would simplify its use for our customers."
"Development of any RPA solution using UiPath is very efficient and flexible, but at the same time, the testing is very difficult."
"Licensing is one area where UiPath could do better and can be more competitive. It is a little expensive. Their bundling of products is a bit confusing. For instance, if we want the UiPath Apps license, it is bundled with Action Center, so you also have to procure the Action Center license. These bundles are not tailored as per our company's requirements. If we reach out to the UiPath partners who deal with the accounts, they usually take your request into consideration and see what best they can do, but it is still not easily customizable."
"The initial setup is complex. Building the organizational scalability is more complex: How to combine process knowledge, programming knowledge, and maintenance knowledge, since these are three different types of skills which are needed. It's not straightforward to do in a global company."
"As a developer, I would probably say the most important thing I would like to see is that the IDE (Integrated Development Environment) a little bit more fleshed out."
"Improve the documentation about the tool, since some frameworks adopted by the company/community are difficult to use."
"There are two editions of UiPath. One is the free Community version and the other is the paid Enterprise version. I have used both. The feature updates in the Enterprise version are very regular and the support is quite fast. That's not replicated in the Community version."
"They say that everybody can do it, but not everybody can do it. You need to have some form of technological understanding about it, and just because we can automate something doesn't mean we should automate something."
"The certification can be made more affordable."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is no licensing fee for our customers."
"I think the setup cost is quite nominal, but the licensing might be on a higher side when compared to Automation Anywhere."
"I love the flexibility because ownership is willing to work with us to make sure commercials are viable."
"The licensing cost is high."
"The cost of UiPath is much less than that of Blue Prism. They've been very flexible and willing to work with us with our new contractors we just signed on. It's worked out well."
"The pricing is competitive. I like the solution's pricing structure."
"UiPath is reasonably priced."
"Previously, we were not using automation operations. I believe we have now reduced costs significantly, which justifies the cost we are paying for the service."
"UiPath's cost can be prohibitive, and the sheer number of licensing options they offer makes it difficult to choose the right one, creating a confusing selection process."
