A scalable solution which is easy to install and use
I do not use the solution personally as I am not the end-user. It is merely one of the solutions that we offer to our customers. We act as consultants, solution providers. We have around 60 customers who are using the solution. I would, for sure, recommend the solution to others. I consider the profile of the project to be quite good at the moment. I rate Another Monday as a nine out of ten.

Significantly reduces manual effort and improves team workflows through automated ticketing
We've used Agent Builder, IXP, and Maestro for orchestration. We have created context-grounded searches or chatbots using context grounding, and we also use context grounding within an Agentic flow where a bot or agent reads ServiceNow tickets to determine whether it has been assigned to the right work group. If it has not been assigned correctly due to human error, it automatically reassigns it to the right group. I would assess Agentic AI's ability to extract data points as effective. We created an agent for the purpose of extracting data, though not in a document. We created what we call an email conversation agent that engages with a customer, vendor, or someone in an email conversation with a set goal of extracting specific data points for an action to be performed subsequently. The one automation we have deployed in production involves the agent interacting with team members to collect data points and create a ServiceNow ticket. We appreciate almost all features of UiPath Platform, with one of the most successful ones being the use of Coms Mining. Most of the new features related to AI have all been good, and we use Agentic. We have already created a few agents and have started to use Maestro for a few flows, though we are not yet there to orchestrate an end-to-end workflow. We have good ROI from the automations we have developed with UiPath Platform, which far exceeds the investment in the platform. It has saved us tens of thousands of hours in manual effort, making the team members happy to pursue other things of value.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The initial setup is very quick."
"Computer Vision helps us read and process handwritten documentation. That will be incredibly important. The unique thing about UiPath is the robustness of the Academy that's built into it."
"It is as simple as dirt."
"I like that it's very flexible, so we can design our automation the way we need to. Some other RPA tools don't really allow us to use all the applications that we use for our team."
"In UiPath, REFramework is useful for different use cases with predefined code templates. There are well-established steps. There is a step for code marginalization. Similarly, there are separate steps for initialization and processing. For closing an application process, a step is there. So, it is very well modularized for getting the transaction data. If there is one exception or anything wrong happens with an application, it will log the exception in the orchestrator and send an email. It can also close your applications and end data processing. So, everything is well organized and separated, and we can log the exceptions separately in the queues as business exceptions or application exceptions. We can have the complete report of a particular queue."
"When we would have a huge backlog, we would hire short-term employees for some of our cases. Now, we don't have to do that anymore."
"By automating tasks through the use of robots, we can achieve significant time and manpower savings."
"I like the low-code/no-code approach and the graphical interface. Among all the RPA tools, UiPath is the one with the easiest interface."
"I have worked with other automation tools and UI Explorer is the standout feature of UiPath. For web-based applications, we can interact with every HTML element, from head to tail. UI Explorer is a valuable addition to UiPath for creating complex, web-based automation."

Cons

"The solution should come with language customization, which would simplify its use for our customers."
"The user interface needs a little bit of improvement in terms of performance. Sometimes, it slows down, but it depends on the OS that you have. If you are running it on Microsoft Windows, it is slower than on macOS or Linux."
"The implementations or integrations through Citrix are really good. The only problem that we are coming across is just maintenance. If the Citrix platform gets updated and we're not notified, it breaks. So, we have to reconfigure our bot to the new updates. Unfortunately, that's just the name of the game, and that would be true if we were pulling them manually versus a bot."
"The biggest challenge for our company, which is a law firm, is that the data is very sensitive, and we do not want to expose our data on the cloud. Therefore, we have our system set up in an on-prem environment, and while we try to utilize new features, with on-prem, we cannot utilize all the new features such as AI Agent or many functions on the cloud."
"If you don't change the name of the activity manually then you will lose some information during logging. It would be useful to put a simple incremental ID on each activity, so even if you don't change the activity name, you will know where the process becomes stuck."
"It would help if UiPath fixed bugs in the software before they updated."
"Usually, what happens is whenever we talk to a business stakeholder, the first concern is data security. And the moment that you talk about a bot in an unattended fashion going and reading the data source, concerns arise since there's not much control at a certain point."
"I would like UiPath to give free trial licenses for more features, like AI Center. UiPath currently offers two licenses for the trial version. However, if I need to practice in AI Center, then I need four to six licenses."
"I have fewer issues with the user interface when I'm using Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere. For example, if you want to perform an action in UiPath, it's a little tricky because you must click on a particular icon. When you click on that, some selectors are generated. That will change whenever the application updates, so you must change the selector again after the update. When we are dealing with Automation Anywhere, we'll not get any selectors if we are using that action once."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There is no licensing fee for our customers."
"We are using the Community Edition. The cost is only that of the virtual machines. The pricing of the Enterprise Edition is a bit high."
"The vendor gave us a 30-day money-back guarantee. We were fine with that. We saw improvement during that time and kept the solution."
"Licensing costs are high, but still well within a positive return on investment."
"Its price is on the higher side as compared to the other players in the market. They are tying up with a lot of other products such as Druid, but they are independently also very expensive. That's what the customers say when we start giving them options of UiPath."
"I would rate the cost of UiPath eight out of ten with ten being the most expensive."
"The price of both UiPath and Automation Anywhere is high. The basic package is included in the price, but in case you require any professional or golden package, you have to pay a higher price."
"The cost that we are allocating for RPA doesn't burden us too heavily, so what we are paying is acceptable compared to the gains that we have in the organization."
"UiPath's cost is acceptable."
