I would rate the stability of SnapLogic as nearly ten out of ten.
But recently, in a year, I haven't found many performance issues in SnapLogic.
However, sometimes we see that SnapLogic is unstable during patch releases or Snap Pack releases.
One area that could be improved is performance, as PowerExchange sometimes has less performance compared to native connectors when dealing with a huge volume of data.
The addition of data quality dashboards or measures would also help in profiling data to assess its health before sharing or moving it.
We require a data pipeline that can be read without latency and without any delay.
IP whitelisting is the area that SnapLogic definitely has to improve.
If the AI capabilities and integrations were more intuitive and easy to learn for new users, it would be greatly beneficial.
The pricing and cost depend heavily on SAP's licensing structure, especially if using SAP integration services.
Informatica PowerExchange is considered cost-efficient due to reduced number of APIs needed.
I feel SnapLogic is very expensive compared to others.
There would be only one point of improvement if the price could be lower.
SnapLogic is positioned at around seven or eight out of ten in terms of pricing.
It also reduces the number of APIs needed for new integrations by offering a unified exchange platform.
PowerExchange is one of the best software solutions to build integrations with non-Oracle or standard database services, especially for SAP and Hana products.
The primary advantage of Informatica PowerExchange is being able to extract data from source systems that Informatica does not natively support.
I also like the whole child-parent pipeline feature; it allows me to break up a process into smaller pieces and then have one big pipeline that controls these smaller pipelines.
SnapLogic provides inbuilt Snaplets, such as creating and closing an audit ID, removing duplicates, joining tables, writing to Oracle, files, XML, SF, SMTP connections, and more.
SnapLogic excels in data transformations, monitoring, and observability, providing scalability controls for the pipelines.
