Centralized monitoring has highlighted limited device control but has improved proactive actions
I have configured adaptive thresholds on servers while using ManageEngine OpManager. If there is high CPU utilization or storage usage, the system will notify me or reset the system or reset the services. ManageEngine OpManager has multiple features that are valuable to our organization. We have integrated our firewall into ManageEngine OpManager, and it provides us notifications for firewall issues as well. ManageEngine OpManager provides an adaptive threshold feature that is very effective. The alerts and the ability to restart services or computers or end devices in ManageEngine OpManager are what I find most valuable. If we have set performance monitoring adaptive thresholds and they exceed the configured value, the system will take action automatically. We can also integrate our switches and access points and control them from ManageEngine OpManager.

AI assistant has transformed network troubleshooting and now reduces downtime and support tickets
Marvis Virtual Network Assistant has resolved all problems that network administrators face, making it challenging to identify areas for improvement. Marvis provides good analytics, recommendations, and problem resolutions. One potential enhancement would be to add different languages for different countries because Marvis currently uses only English. For example, since I live in Ukraine, it would be beneficial to communicate with Marvis in Ukrainian because not all administrators know English.

Pros

"The product provides intensive reports."
"OpManager can monitor network utilization, downtime, and services in real time."
"ManageEngine OpManager allows us to manage all our organization's firewalls, switches, and critical servers from a single console, requiring only one person to oversee all operations."
"The setup was easy."
"The most valuable feature is the monitoring alerts, as the administrators are immediately notified and can do the required action immediately, and this is the feature we value and use the most."
"OpManager technical support is good."
"Once it was set up and running, there were no issues with it, and it seems to run fairly well."
"Easy and agentless to deploy, service and support is excellent."
"I believe the pricing of Marvis Virtual Network Assistant is reasonable because it allows for a decrease in the quantity of network administrators needed and reduces operational costs."
"If you ask any questions about Marvis, it will respond immediately and use some solution. It will be very easy and save you time."
"Marvis Virtual Network Assistant uses AI to find problems or to get information from devices."

Cons

"We would like link monitoring included. At times we need to monitor those specific links closely."
"WMI and SNMP integration with the domain controller should be seamless"
"This solution is not suitable for enterprise-sized deployments, as it sometimes hangs and needs to be restarted."
"Some of our customers have been asking that OpManager have a feature to monitor the operating system, however, I tell them that Endpoint Central is doing that. You can buy endpoints and then OpManager, and they integrate between them, and everything is okay."
"There needs to be improvements to make the solution capable of supporting more devices, and it would be good to see an option for automatic deployment."
"The pricing of the solution is high. They should work to adjust the pricing model to see if they can help reduce costs."
"Support is very bad. They should improve support and customer relationship."
"The pricing of the solution is high."
"It should add real-time application visibility."
"It would be a good idea to integrate the solution to support other vendors besides Juniper."
"One potential enhancement would be to add different languages for different countries because Marvis currently uses only English."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is not really expensive; it is nominal licensing."
"As far as cost, it was around six hundred thousand rands ($40,500) for the year, for the renewals. That's the total cost for a four thousand node system including support and maintenance."
"The licensing is on a yearly basis and the pricing is on the cheaper side."
"The solution's licensing costs are yearly and based on the number of applications."
"ManageEngine OpManager has a three-tier licensing model."
"The licensing costs depend on the number of devices and accounts that are being monitored by the solution."
"I rate the tool's pricing an eight out of ten."
"Pricing for ManageEngine OpManager depends on the number of nodes you onboard and whatever pricing is reflected on the ManageEngine portal which offers discounts from ten percent to fifteen percent. It purely depends on the sales volume and the negotiation. In my organization, there are about one thousand two hundred nodes which cost around $29,000 per year. There's no additional support fee or maintenance fee from ManageEngine OpManager. Pricing for the solution is highly competitive and I would rate it five out of five. ManageEngine OpManager is one of the most competitive options out there."
"Marvis Virtual Network Assistant is not an expensive solution."
