Featured Reviews

Ritu-Raj - PeerSpot reviewer
Influenced cost savings by approximately seventy to eighty percent
I have worked on multiple platforms in this space, like MuleSoft, Oracle, Intel, Microsoft, and Dell Boomi. However, Azure Logic Apps is the easiest and most transparent in terms of its operations, licensing cost, and scaling. Being in Azure, the use of the Azure ecosystem becomes quite native with Logic Apps.
VinethSuresh - PeerSpot reviewer
Achieves rapid results in data migration and has an intuitive user interface
I find SnapLogic to be user-friendly, especially for beginners with limited experience in data engineering or ETL. The interface is interactive, allowing me to quickly learn how to run pipelines and achieve production-ready results swiftly. This agility translates to cost savings, especially for smaller projects and proofs of concept, as less time and effort are needed to deliver results.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"What I found most valuable in Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is that you can run a workflow or do a high-level process orchestration, then you can call the other function and fulfill the process. For example, if you want to update a customer, you first need to get the customer's phone number and simulate the steps of the process, then Microsoft Azure Logic Apps can orchestrate that process."
"The workflow in Logic Apps enables integrating multiple applications."
"The product has efficient connectors."
"The product's initial setup phase is something that I don't think is complex because once we start using it, it becomes simple."
"Azure Logic Apps has influenced cost savings by approximately seventy to eighty percent in many cases and is generally 30% to 40% cheaper than any comparable services in this space."
"It's very easy to use, and it's blazing fast. The best thing about Logic Apps is actually its ability to create a solution in a matter of hours. It doesn't need any kind of provisioning, and you don't need any kind of hardware. You can create very small elements like these Logic Apps, and you can build a whole solution from those very simple and small elements. I also like that they are completely incorporated with your existing active directory. You can use user groups directly from the active directory inside Azure and access it from the Logic Apps. You don't need to do anything special, and you just have access. You can just check if the user is, for example, allowed to do some action. Normally it would take you some additional steps and some additional calls to check it. You have to come back to the active directory to make this possible. In Logic Apps, you just have it, and you can use it. I think that there's this concept of logging and recall to the Logic App. It shows you every single step, every single product, and the result it's returning to the next step. It also has an amazing debugging feature. You can rerun some calls and see if, after a correction of the Logic App, for example, you get the correct results. So, it's almost like it's alive. It's like you make a change, poof it, and it's in production, and it's working. The speed of the composition of the problem and creating a real solution for it is extremely fast with this solution. It's extremely fast in creation."
"The tool’s biggest benefit is the access we have to other Azure products."
"The most valuable features of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps are the triggering based on certain events. You can trigger a Logic App and put your logic behind it and take certain actions. The actions could be anything based on the business logic. For example, if you say something happens, an order comes in, and the order can sit in one of the Azure services. Whenever an order comes in, the Logic App can go look and trigger an event. You can write your logic inside your Logic App and it works similar to a workflow."
"The technical support from SnapLogic is excellent, and I would give it a complete ten."
"It is a stable solution."
"An important tool for building prototypes and MVPs than can seamlessly turn into production jobs"
"The connection with SOAP is the best feature."
"I found SnapLogic valuable and what I found most valuable about it was its ETL feature. I also found its automation feature valuable. It can be used for automating manual activities. It can be used as a middleware for certain transactional data processing and minimal datasets and ETL activities."
"The product is easy to use and has many connectivity options."
"The API architecture makes it easy for orchestration."
"I find SnapLogic to be user-friendly, especially for beginners with limited experience in data engineering or ETL."

Cons

"The solution could add an AI version to make it easier for people."
"The product needs improvement in getting direct access to the code and versioning."
"The business rules engine is still not fully developed, and it would be very helpful to see improvements here."
"There could be custom code for the product's components."
"Microsoft Azure Logic Apps needs further development in consistency and durability, particularly for handling larger data volumes beyond 1 MB."
"The product should integrate more APIs"
"Additionally, enhancing scalability features, such as implementing queuing mechanisms for high-concurrency scenarios, would greatly improve its utility."
"In Logic Apps, it supports AJAX and jQuery as commands to filter out to input the parameter. But regular expressions in general aren't supported well. So, I recommend that Logic Apps could be enhanced by supporting regular expressions (RegEx) more comprehensively ."
"I would like to see more performance-related dashboards, ones that display the cost of a pipeline, for instance. Also, it would be helpful to have management dashboards for overseeing pipelines and connections."
"Connecting to data behind enterprise firewalls has been tricky."
"We'd like zero downtime in the future."
"There is room for improvement with APM management and how task execution looks."
"While new features are always welcome, I do not have anything else at the top of my mind currently."
"Ultra Pipelines provides real-time ingestion but it needs some adjustment."
"SnapLogic doesn't provide any on-premises software, so users have only cloud-based software to use."
"They should expand in terms of features for SaaS-based market requirements in different sectors."
