Promotes clear, logical structures preventing impractical configurations and offers seamless integration
The only thing is regarding the management of multi-cloud environments. That's not really possible. So basically, it's wonderful if you manage Microsoft clearly and if you manage Microsoft Azure, but if you need to consume external services and have a global overview of all your consumption, it's not the case. Google, for instance, has tools that help you manage multiple environments, which makes sense because Google is really the cloud provider. So that's why they need to be compliant with the others. But for sure, Microsoft's approach is different, and it's wonderful when you're one hundred percent on Azure. But if you'd like to have something more of a multi-cloud strategy, that's a bit of a gap where they could improve.

A scalable and stable solution that has good scalability and is easy to setup
It is a scalable solution. I have yet to have a scenario regarding automatic scale and if there's an increase in resource requirement or need. We have yet to have that scenario. We have yet to test that. The scalability was more than manually adjusting and increasing whatever I had to do. I rate it eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution is easy to manage within the cloud application, has good performance, and is secure."
"The most valuable features of this solution are the Access Management and the PIN modules."
"Microsoft Azure is easy to use."
"The technical support has been excellent."
"It is quick and easy to deploy. It is flexible, and we can deploy a resource anytime. We like and prefer the pay-as-you-go model."
"Azure is very flexible."
"There are plenty of functions available that we have used extensively. It is a complete platform of services."
"Being able to set up, change and configure VMs is easy - a lot easier than in AWS."
"The dynamic vertical scaling is a unique feature."
"The solution is scalable, and that is what we are looking at. There is no learning curve as we have not done much research."
"The control is valuable. It's really easy to use and you have good control of your solutions."
"Technical support from Jelastic is very good."
"The advanced level of production-ready Docker hosting, one-click application deployment, and the truly flexible pricing."

Cons

"They are a bit closed on the customization side. If they open the customization then it will be very good."
"It would be ideal if they could reduce costs a bit. Right now, we find the product to be expensive."
"Security could be better. Once there was an attack, and we couldn't get to the cloud to see the reports for about five hours."
"The solution should improve the shared cache. For the shared cache, Microsoft uses RADIUS third-party services. We have a lot of trouble with RADIUS and I suppose that is due to the fact that is not owned completely by Microsoft."
"Its pricing should be better. In terms of features, I am yet to explore the whole solution, and the current features seem okay."
"Scalability is definitely in need of improvement. Azure is a very good solution but it still lacks the performance of other cloud platforms."
"Performance could be improved."
"It should improve database performance and make the platform more user-friendly. Additionally, providing more tools for seamless migration from AWS to Azure would be beneficial."
"For now, some customers are requesting support of Docker containers for Windows."
"The backup functionality needs to be improved."
"The backup features need improvement, or rather it should be added, as I could not find it."
"Lacks better integration into enterprise storage products."
"The security layers also need to be improved because there is no clear layer or tier of security in the solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost-benefit equation for Azure is very good, particularly for small applications. However, Microsoft should do much, much more to improve how costs are communicated and how to forecast them. The Azure Pricing Calculator is not useful."
"We are on a monthly subscription for Microsoft Azure and the cost is more expensive than some of the competitors, such as Amazon AWS. They should be more competitive with other solutions."
"It is not an expensive product and is adaptable to various requirements. It offers a free tier for small-scale usage and the ability to scale up as needed when requirements grow."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive, I rate the solution's pricing an eight out of ten."
"It has the pay-as-you-go model. Its pricing should be better."
"We pay a monthly licensing fee for the solution, which could be cheaper."
"One piece of feedback from other users I have heard from is that Azure is somewhat expensive, so I would advise anyone thinking about this solution to be aware of the cost. You need to take into account the configuration you are going with or it could turn out to be a more expensive solution than you anticipated."
"Microsoft Azure is a cost-effective solution where you use it as per your requirement and pay for it."
"I would rate the cost 3 out of 5. There are additional costs other than licensing fees."
"Pricing for providers is revenue-shared based. Providers should invest in hardware to set up the Jelastic cluster."
