Versatile integrations and reliable customer satisfaction elevate cloud service experience
For Microsoft Azure improvement, they need to enhance their support system. The first level of support should be improved in terms of quality and response time. They need more technical support at the first level, as there are currently only one or two technical people among five to ten staff members at this level. They should ensure that the first level support is more technical because we normally provide services to technical users ourselves. When an issue arises, it usually escalates to the second or third level. When facing first level support, they may have limited knowledge and only collect screenshots to forward to their seniors. They should ensure that the first level support is aligned with L2 and L3 to better assist us, especially since we mention in the ticket that our issues are related to specific problems and require that sort of support.

A scalable and stable solution that has good scalability and is easy to setup
It is a scalable solution. I have yet to have a scenario regarding automatic scale and if there's an increase in resource requirement or need. We have yet to have that scenario. We have yet to test that. The scalability was more than manually adjusting and increasing whatever I had to do. I rate it eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"AWS is good, but Azure's license is reasonably priced, and Microsoft is gaining market share with a competitive package overall."
"Overall, this is a good product. We definitely plan to continue using it in the future and I recommend it to others."
"The feature of the product that has been most impactful for our company's operations stems from the fact that everything is on a single dashboard or a single page where users can monitor and manage everything related to the product."
"There are a lot of things that we like about it. It is very easy to provision and configure. It is flexible and scalable."
"Overall, it is a great solution but is a bit expensive, has some minor limitations, and working around these limits can be a challenge."
"The best feature in Microsoft Azure is that I don't have to change computers. I don't have to upgrade or if something breaks or a hard drive crashes. The lack of a physical aspect is the major feature for me."
"We have found the user interface to be intuitive. Microsoft is a master at UI."
"We are running our product which is deployed on Azure AKS cluster; this really helps us to drive more business from customers."
"Technical support from Jelastic is very good."
"The dynamic vertical scaling is a unique feature."
"The solution is scalable, and that is what we are looking at. There is no learning curve as we have not done much research."
"The advanced level of production-ready Docker hosting, one-click application deployment, and the truly flexible pricing."
"Jelastic is exactly what we expect from a PaaS vendor: easy-to-start, easy-to-manage, container based technology, support for vertical and horizontal auto-scaling, and all this without vendor lock-in."
"We almost don't have to maintain our servers."
"The technical support is extremely helpful, and they have a very good support team."
"As a strategic solution, it's really good because it will avoid a lot of cost if you are building your data center, for example, or from scratch."

Cons

"An issue I encountered was around the integration of Identity. I lost some important information and I would like to see improvements with this."
"Support could be improved. If you pay for a higher plan, it's okay, however, the lower plans don't offer as good of a service experience."
"Azure ARM console can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning."
"There is room for improvement in the product's AI capabilities and real-time data processing features."
"Microsoft Azure needs to improve its customization capabilities. Each organization has unique tasks and fields that it wants to use. Additionally, the search functionality could be more flexible."
"The solution needs to offer more data analysis services."
"It would be nice to have faster support."
"It would be advantageous if the dashboard had more clarity, in terms of the visibility that it provides."
"The security layers also need to be improved because there is no clear layer or tier of security in the solution."
"I would like to see better integration into enterprise storage products."
"For now, some customers are requesting support of Docker containers for Windows."
"The backup features need improvement, or rather it should be added, as I could not find it."
"The backup functionality needs to be improved."
"An S3 like storage system, if they have a s3 API compatible system I can move my files from AWS."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Price is good and many free features available"
"Its price should be optimized so that we can use more features."
"We pay for the license on a monthly basis."
"It is not an expensive product and is adaptable to various requirements. It offers a free tier for small-scale usage and the ability to scale up as needed when requirements grow."
"It's a pay-as-you-go subscription."
"The pricing for the end-user packages is a bit high. It is full of very interesting services, but I would still like it to be less expensive."
"We're paying in dollars, and it's very expensive for us because of the exchange rates."
"The price needs to be lower because they're competing with AWS."
"I would rate the cost 3 out of 5. There are additional costs other than licensing fees."
"Pricing for providers is revenue-shared based. Providers should invest in hardware to set up the Jelastic cluster."
