Digital credentials have streamlined identity verification and now support faster passwordless onboarding
The best features of Microsoft Entra Verified ID for us are decentralized identity verification, reusable verifiable credentials, and passwordless trust validation. We specifically appreciate the standard-based credential issuance and verification flow because it reduces manual identity checks and improves trust for external users, vendors, and contractors. For our team, the biggest impact came from reusable verifiable credentials in Microsoft Entra Verified ID. Once identity proofing is completed, the same trusted credential can be reused across multiple onboarding and access workflows, which has reduced repetitive verification effort and improved user onboarding speed significantly. Microsoft Entra Verified ID has improved our identity verification process by reducing manual validation steps for employees, contractors, and external partners. It has also strengthened our trust during onboarding and access requests while helping us move toward passwordless and decentralized identity workflows.
