Real-time monitoring and seamless integration enhance deployment efficiency
The main disadvantage I see is the limited awareness of Nolio Release Automation in other organizations. It is a very nice tool, but its market presence is limited. I heard from the organization that the licensing cost was somewhat expensive. Perhaps focusing on marketing efforts would be beneficial. It is a really nice tool, and I am unsure why many organizations are not using Nolio Release Automation. It is one of the greatest tools for continuous deployment, yet its popularity remains limited. Some organizations are not aware of its existence. This might be an area worth researching and potentially developing new marketing strategies.

"This solution is a great tool; in my opinion, it's the number one tool on the market right now, and I've done some research into other options."
"We previously used a different solution, and CA Release Automation really makes life easier as follows: it has a large number of available actions, deployment pipeline and approval gateway features that increase security to the deployment flow, and it integrates with service desk tools."
"Usability – it’s good for developers who are both technical and non-technical."
"Using a VPL to configure a release process is a valuable feature."
"It is very easy to make a software release. It used to take us at least a couple of hours to make a release, now we went to production with a new one last night. This new release took me five minutes."
"With the usage of UrbanCode Release, we are able to save on efforts required to create a detailed, accurate implementation plan, and as it has direct connectivity with UrbanCode Deploy, we can schedule automatic deployments and hence save on time and cost of resources, so the overall release efficiency has improved multifold."
"Repeatable, reliable deployments from one environment to the next."
"By standardizing the automated deployment application process, reducing the amount of errors due to manual steps and by providing visibility into the release cycles of various teams/applications, we've improved our global efficiency by at least 25% and still counting, since we've only used the product for a short period of time."
"The most valuable functionality is the ability to define the deployment process, schedule the deployment and automatically execute the deployments to different environments."
"It has provided a platform for traceability across the whole release cycle for more than 700 diverse applications."

Cons

"It is an expensive tool and the licensing model is difficult to sell."
"Overall, it's a great product, but not that user friendly concerning the deployment server configuration/management."
"What I personally want to see is more features for data warehousing deployment."
"Can Nolio make a coffee.........."
"In the next release, I would like to see more features to use active directory. And more rules to support more Python scripts and to work with Kubernetes and clouds, to have an easy solution for a lot of parameters."
"It could use better integration with development tools."
"Stability is an area for improvement."
"We did have stability issues. The tool slows down often."
"The resource tree is pretty bulky and slow; making a change to the resource tree manually is pretty difficult when size increases."
"We have encountered scalability issues. We did not scale particularly well."
"Lack of technical expertise available in the market that forces us to rely solely on IBM Professional Services."
"If you really want to scale up, it's going to get a little complicated. You'll have to do some configurations to make it work."
"In our implementation, we created 16 PMR for this product. 15 of them were solved."
"Technical support is bad."
"More out of the box plugins are required though good number are avaialble at the moment."
"Its reliability has been a little suspect, and one of our frustrations has been that it's taken them some time to focus on fixing that problem."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Nolio is a pretty much good tool, though its pricing is relatively high in the market. It's more expensive than other tools."
"Considering COVID-19, the price is too high."
"The cost of the solution is high but it offers great ROI."
