A tool that offers good UI and documentation
Webroot Business Endpoint Protection had sent me a physical installation medium, which was very easy to obtain and deploy. It was also easy to configure, and it had a nice UI. I didn't have any problems with the product. I think that Webroot Business Endpoint Protection is very transparent about the pricing models offered to users. The tool also maintains transparency about the features and specifications. Previously, when I compared the two products with Webroot Business Endpoint Protection, I saw that with Trend Micro, it is very difficult to transparently find out what it offers and how much it charges for it.

AI-driven threat detection strengthens security and supports seamless integration
My company had an opportunity to implement Trend Micro Endpoint for one of our customers. They have around 500 PCs as endpoints and also around 100 or 120 servers The behavior analytics feature is very useful, and its threat detection based on AI is very strong. It is easy to integrate with other…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I rate the initial setup phase a ten on a scale of one to ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy."
"Probably, compared to other antivirus programs, what we like about it is it is lightweight."
"Speed"
"Auto-Remediation"
"Webroot's tech support is pretty good; they've given me some pointers."
"The main reason we had Webroot is that it was cost-effective for our clients."
"The traffic security monitoring, traffic application access feature called the agent, the main feature which is the endpoint security feature are the ones I found valuable. And it also had the in branch security in kind of SD WAN, good three hundred and sixty protection. It is specific and there is ease of deployment also present."
"Their policy management, their cloud-based dashboard and user interface are very easy to navigate."
"The solution is stable and scalable."
"Apex One offers a lot of bang for your buck. It includes an antivirus solution, DLP, app control, and all the other features found in endpoint protection solutions like Microsoft Defender. Many other solutions require additional licenses for different operating systems, but Trend Micro software bundles everything."
"DLP is a solid feature in the product. I like it very much. It is very useful in our environment. It is also a very stable solution. Their support is also very good."
"Technical support is quite knowledgeable and helpful."
"The XDR feature which provides us with real visibility into our environment is the most valuable."
"The most valuable feature of Trend Vision One Endpoint Security is the virtual patching it provides."
"This is a very stable product and we plan to continue using it."
"The most favorable features have been behavior monitoring and zero-day threat protection."

Cons

"The reporting is the weakest part of the Webroot console. Frequently, I export to Excel to massage something into it to pass on to others."
"There needs to be more advanced analytics. It would make it a more powerful antivirus solution within the marketplace."
"I believe that Webroot Business Endpoint Protection should offer a more modern UI."
"Their customer support should be better. We started having some issues with it, and we didn't get the required support."
"Webroot Business Endpoint Protection needs to focus on how they can widen their area of scope by not just being an antivirus tool anymore. The shortcoming in the customization area of the tool needs improvement."
"It would be nice if it had a feature for automatically generating reports on the client end for device status, security status and backup information."
"An updated UI would be nice, but is not hardly used."
"I want Webroot to be easier to use and set up. It is not very intuitive."
"The solution could use signatureless detection."
"The solution's user experience regarding device control could be more friendly or straightforward."
"Trend Micro's encryption is not up to the mark. We tried their encryption product, but we did not like it. Encryption was difficult to manage."
"I would like to have DLP features implemented into Vision One Security."
"The cost could be improved."
"The pricing is very high."
"I would like to see a sandboxing feature in the next release - which is currently something being supported by a third party - in addition to EDR capability on the cloud applications."
"Its pricing should be improved. In some cases, the user interface was not ready for our proof of concept. It wasn't a beta phase service."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"With Webroot Business Endpoint Protection, I can select a yearly billing cycle."
"Work on a price tier plan."
"The solution doesn't cost too much. It's about 30 Euros a year for each endpoint. It's pretty affordable for us and for many other companies."
"I rate the product's pricing a three on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive. There are no costs in addition to the product's standard licensing fees."
"From a pricing standpoint, I would rate it a four out of five."
"I think the price is fairly reasonable. I was really prepared to pay more, but the price is fine."
"It is relatively cheap."

"Licensing fees are paid on a yearly basis."
"The pricing for Apex One is midrange, and worth the costs."
"The license is expensive but it is a complete solution."
"There is a license for this solution and it can be paid for monthly or annually."
"Trend Micro Apex One's subscription model is definitely on the expensive side."
