Daily invoice analytics has become streamlined and complex data modeling is now simplified
We are not using analytics features and possibly predictive analytics and forecasting features in QlikView, although they are available. QlikView is very flexible, but we are currently using only tabular presentation of data because that is what we need. Presenting a large volume of data in QlikView with graphics can be overwhelming for the majority of people who want to see a lot of information in one picture. It would be beneficial to have AI or ML features in QlikView. However, I think they will decommission QlikView, and AI features are already available in Qlik Sense, so you would need to migrate to that platform.

I can now create more meaningful charts--radar, donut, pareto, scatter, range, point, boxplot, etc., but it doesn't support Linux or commodity hardware.
* The tool is very easy to use, we got on-premise training from Panorama, within days we were proficient enough to play with the tool. * The customer service is very responsive, they answered our queries. * I saw lot of people complaining about the lack of community forum, but they do have a forum which is quite active. * The tool is extremely easy to use, with a click you can import data and create the visualizations. * The things I like most is it supports variety of charts, I was quite bored with my previous BI tool which mostly supported bar, line and pie charts. I can now create more meaningful charts radar, donut, pareto, scatter, range, point, boxplot, etc.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The platform's most valuable feature is its associative data model. It allows me to discover hidden data and gain insights that are not immediately visible."
"QlikView Desktop Enterprise allows us to build dashboard visualizations in a fashionable way and allows us to make quick business decisions all over the enterprise."
"Data integration capabilities are quite good; you can integrate any information stored anywhere in different systems with QlikView."
"Extraction from almost all data sources provides a lot of value to me."
"The data model helps my organization to recognize and identify the problem of our clients’ data."
"The product’s most valuable feature is its ability to view the entire data available for analysis."
"Uniformization of KPIs across all departments brings efficacy and effectiveness to coworkers in problem solving."
"QlikView is a scalable solution that multiple users can easily use."
"The tool is extremely easy to use, with a click you can import data and create the visualizations."

Cons

"The tool is expensive in Turkey."
"QlikView is a very heavy RAM utilizer (all strong BI tools are). When we hit around 20 concurrent users, the user experience began to suffer."
"By comparing with the latest data discovery tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense and Sisense, the layout and colors are not eye catching enough."
"Implement security model for a document can be difficult and slow to implement."
"This solution would be improved with the inclusion of a feature that would allow us to add a common library of (our) commands used in load scripts and expressions, so with a keyword, we would get a drop down to select the command we are looking for, as opposed to the generic help."
"More/newer visualisation components need to be added."
"Performance sometimes is a concern. Occasionally, it hangs while running a script and it bounces out."
"They could provide a user-friendly analysis process rather than specialized IT resource code."
"No support for Linux or commodity hardware. Limited support for big data analytics."

"I rate QlikView's pricing a five out of ten."
"I rate the product's pricing a three out of ten."
"My firm got the product at a cheap price, but in general, I believe that the product is a bit costly."
