Gained full visibility and streamlined threat detection through behavior-based insights and AI integration
Initially, we got to have a lot of false positives when we onboarded, but nowadays it's quite smooth. We have fine-tuned our security policies and allowed different levels of policies to get rid of those false positives. Currently, we are getting a fairly good amount of incidents that are not false positives or benign, but actionable items. The process is streamlined. In the initial days, the operations used to get involved in a lot of benign and other activities, but now the process is streamlined. We are leveraging the auto-detection and remediation plans. The operations teams are now more involved in other business roles as well, not just looking into the logs and fetching out what's happening there. They have fixed a lot of things. Initially, they didn't have IAC code drift detection, cloud posture management, or security posture management, but they have those now. They purchased different vendors and did a merger with that. They have now Prisma Cloud that gets integrated and now they are working with Cortex Cloud. Everything that was negative has now been addressed, and the product altogether looks to be in a very better and mature shape now. Currently, it's more or less detecting the workloads with AI-based best practices. Since most organizations are consuming AI agents and other things, we are looking forward to seeing what other feature enhancements Palo Alto can support in that.

Central console streamlines patch monitoring and device management effortlessly
WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection is good and easy to set up. I provide an installation file for every client through my domain controller and GPO, and it works properly. We have faced no incidents with viruses or network breaches, and it's easy to monitor patches. I can use remote desktop from the central console. The solution also saves my time because, being the only one handling it, I can monitor all devices easily.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"Stability is a primary factor, and then there's the ease of distribution and policy management; Cortex XDR by Palo Alto Networks is very easy to work with, and we're quite happy with them."
"We have found in our test Cortex XDR by Palo Alto Networks to be a very good tool."
"Its interface and pricing are most valuable. It is better than other vendors in terms of security."
"After deploying Traps, we saw the performance of the network improve by 65 to 70 percent."
"Cortex XDR by Palo Alto Networks should be a stable solution."
"We can use Cortex XDR to get the entire graph of the incidents from source to destination, and we can take remedial action."
"The stability is pretty good except for one or two cases, and based on the performance, it's been okay with pretty high performance, no bugs or glitches, and it doesn't crash or freeze."
"The solution allows control over the user and his machine through Cortex XDR security policies."
"I like Seqrite's web protection features and external device control."
"The setup process was easy for our remote clients and us as well."
"The solution is centrally managed, easy to configure, and easy to use."
"There are many features available in this solution, such as asset management."
"Seqrite Endpoint Security is a good solution."
"The two valuable features are anti-ransomware and data loss protection."
"There are many features available in this solution, such as asset management."
"The most valuable features are the file activity monitors, DLP solutions, and application controls."
"The most valuable features of WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection are the clear useful portal and overall company protection."
"It's pretty simple to use, with the console and the dashboard there is no information overload, it's easy to follow, and it's pretty straightforward to do things like web filtering, generating reports, creating profiles, and deploying it to machines remotely, which is convenient for us."
"It's a very good and reliable product as we have no problems with it generally."
"The notifications and patch management features are valuable."
"The customer portal by WithSecure is a lot better with WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection than it was with Countercept."
"Both incoming and outgoing traffic is protected."
"WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection is good and easy to set up."
"We use the product for detecting network vulnerabilities and for software update purposes."

Cons

"The GUI could be improved. It's a little bit cumbersome. It could be more user-friendly."
"In the next release, I would like to see more UI improvements. Their UI is a bit basic. When we are speaking about Palo Alto Networks they are the big company, so they can improve the UI a little bit. The UI, the reports, the log system can all be improved."
"Managing the product should be easier."
"If Palo Alto reduces the pricing slightly for their products, it would make them more scalable in markets such as India and globally for cybersecurity."
"However, if you do not have Palo Alto in your environment, you are paying these additional services just for Cortex XDR by Palo Alto Networks, so it is not a cost-effective solution."
"The solution can never really be an on-premises solution based simply on the way it is set up. It needs metadata to run and improve. Having an on-premises solution would cut it off from making improvements."
"Although I would say this product is highly-rated, it could probably do more because nothing does everything that you want."
"The solution should force customers to integrate with network traffic to see the full benefits of XDR."
"User management could be improved."
"A handbook of known issues and quick fixes should be given so that troubleshooting and frustration are less."
"Endpoint Security would be improved by adding DLP."
"The interface is slow."
"I don't feel that the scalability part of Seqrite Endpoint Security is better than the other products in the market."
"When we fire any employee connected remotely over the internet, we need a security feature that blocks the system and the device."
"The solution needs to improve stability."
"The solution's integration capabilities are moderate and could be improved."
"One problem is that the solution takes too much RAM from the client."
"In my opinion, there is room for improvement for WithSecure Elements Endpoint Protection, especially in the deployment tools, which could be a little better, but not by much."
"The program and cloud service management is in English. It's not a problem for me, however, it might be for users who don't speak English or use it regularly."
"There is no technical support available in the Middle East."
"I would like the part of Hash Analysis by external sources to be improved."
"But the biggest one for us is patch management because this has been our top priority when looking at alternatives. Every solution needs to have patch management, if that's possible. It would cut costs on our side if that feature were included, so we don't need to pay for two separate pieces of software."
"The solution could improve by having more real-time responses. For example, when a license gets removed from a computer it does not update the records of the change. Additionally, when I installed Microsoft Windows Defender I was not able to send licenses through email to our tenants. The integration with other solutions could improve."
"The program and cloud service management is in English. It's not a problem for me, however, it might be for users who don't speak English or use it regularly."

"If one wishes to work with another team or large number of users at a future point, he must purchase a license for them."
