Automation has transformed daily operations and now delivers faster, more accurate data flows
The best features in SnapLogic are the drag-and-drop interface which makes it easy to build data and application flows. No heavy coding is required, making it ideal for both technical and non-technical users. SnapLogic also offers pre-built snaps, real-time and batch processing, API management and integration, cloud and hybrid support, dashboarding and monitoring, error handling and retry mechanisms, scalability, security and governance, and transformation capabilities with built-in functions to clean and transform data, expressions, aggregations, and mappings. SnapLogic offers auto-mapping and smart schema detection as additional features. SnapLogic can detect schemas automatically, which helps when sources evolve or change, and this matters because there is less manual mapping work.

Automation has transformed onboarding workflows and still needs clearer error guidance
I would rate Tray.io overall about a seven, give or take, with a consideration of seven and a half. I chose seven for my rating mostly for cost-related reasons as I would not really recommend it for smaller companies or startups. Zapier would be a more beneficial solution for those, but if you are looking to scale up, I think it is worth the price, which is the only reason I would give it a seven rating. My overall review rating is seven. The learning curve for new users on Tray.io is somewhat noticeable, as when you first log on having never used a low-code platform, you need to take the time to really learn how the workflows are deployed and how to connect everything. However, once you are using it every single day, it is quite easy to catch up, though there is still a bit of a learning curve. Tray.io integrates fairly well with our existing tech stack, as we utilize Okta, Slack, Google Cloud platforms, AWS, and a multitude of software-as-a-service applications, and Tray.io automates many of these. From my experience alone, it helps with onboardings, offboardings, and title changes.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"An important tool for building prototypes and MVPs than can seamlessly turn into production jobs"
"They are very good at building out new aspects according to customer requirements."
"I would tell others looking into using SnapLogic to use it, take it, use it, and use it, because you can't go beyond SnapLogic and SnapLogic is not going to give you any kind of bad experience, definitely."
"The technical support from SnapLogic is excellent, and I would give it a complete ten."
"SnapLogic delivers measurable ROI through time savings, 70% fewer errors, faster processes, and significant cost reductions while enabling scalable automations across our systems."
"The solution is easy to implement and easy to use. It's basically just drag and drop."
"The connection with SOAP is the best feature."
"SnapLogice is a low-code development tool."
"Tray.io has positively impacted my organization by reducing the amount of redundant tasks that our team performs by approximately 80%, and the numbers are quite significant with the workflows alone, as we are working towards creating and utilizing AI within these workflows as well."
"Tray.io has positively impacted my organization by helping us keep our internal database and this third-party service in sync, and it has really helped us automate a lot of that work because it is fairly straightforward to maintain and develop."

Cons

"I find the learning curve for complex transformations, the debugging experience, performance optimization visibility, cost for small teams, and version control and DevOps integration could be improved in SnapLogic."
"I don't think the support has better knowledge about technologies and tool support. There were lots of times when we had an issue, and it took me quite a long time to explain the problem. I feel like some of the support staff don't know their product well."
"SnapLogic should have some inbuilt protocol mechanism in order to speed up."
"There is room for improvement with APM management and how task execution looks."
"Connecting to data behind enterprise firewalls has been tricky."
"I would like to see more performance-related dashboards, ones that display the cost of a pipeline, for instance. Also, it would be helpful to have management dashboards for overseeing pipelines and connections."
"From the HR point of view, or for HR tech, improvement is required. A couple of connectors are not working with all the relevant APIs, and there is always a restriction in terms of fetching the data."
"It needs some more snaps. I would like to see some of the features be changed in some of the snaps."
"As our product got more complex, we needed to add more and more complexity to Tray.io in terms of our setup, and that is when the benefits of it being no-code or low-code started to pale in comparison to the cost of making everything slightly more complicated."
"One way Tray.io could be improved, especially for people coming in with no real coding experience, is with more comprehensive error messages."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I used the free trial."
"The cost with SnapLogic is an annual license and better than Informatica."
"When comparing it with solutions like Apigee or MuleSoft, it still offers better value."
"From the ROI perspective, the price is extremely high"
"It is a higher initial cost than other easy-to-use integration apps."
"The pricing is okay."
"SnapLogic's price is high compared to the other tools available in the market."
"They have pricing/usage tiers that are easy to move up or down."
