What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Corrata is definitely protection against phishing attacks, and having very secure communications is really important.
I can give a specific example of how I've used Corrata for phishing protection: we have seen the results of the detection related to phishing events that occurred, which were blocked and highlighted. That was definitely great to see the impact of the product, and we have a clear view and comfort of knowing that all communications are secure, safe, and protected.
It's now policy that everybody has it switched on, and having this product makes us feel very secure.
We have seen almost a complete removal of phishing events and detections since we started using Corrata. It's definitely in the 97, 98% effective range when it comes to phishing detection; that's a powerful impact and KPI.
What is most valuable?
The best features Corrata offers include the ease of deployment, which is really important, and ease of use. It's a very stable platform, so that aspect is very important to us.
The ease of deployment and use is important for my team because everyone will agree that our jobs are full on these days, and time is the most precious factor. The last thing I want is to bring on board a new tool that requires extensive effort and difficulty, both in deployment and maintenance. Having a simplistic solution, deployment, and usage is clear; the benefits are clear. That's exactly what is needed: low touch, low cost.
Corrata definitely has unique patented technology, which is great on the edge, and it's just seamless and runs in the background; that simplicity is hugely important to us.
Corrata has impacted my organization positively by providing a degree of assurance to all employees that there's a level of protection. There are so many attacks these days in the cyber world, so having that ease of mind and seeing the results of the product being effective and working are the key aspects I would mention.
What needs improvement?
I think the product they have is fantastic, and I would encourage them to build more products and extend the product suite; there is nothing I wish was different or better about Corrata.
The one point I take off might relate to AI enablement, which would probably introduce the complete zero-touch aspect, and that's probably a suggestion for the roadmap.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using Corrata now for approximately two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Regarding Corrata's scalability, we are a relatively small company, but I know from reference that the product is deployed in very large companies. I have no reason to believe other than that the platform is fully scalable. We did look at the architecture, and it is both horizontally and vertically scalable, so I don't think any organization should have concerns about the scalability of the product.
How are customer service and support?
The customer support for Corrata is excellent; they are very friendly and very responsive. Thankfully, we haven't had to use it much because of the stability, but when we did use it, it was really excellent and tremendously supportive, which is unusual in this modern world we live in.
I would rate the customer support 10 out of 10; it was excellent.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I did not previously use a different solution before Corrata.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on investment, and I think saving money, saving time, and saving cost are relevant metrics; we're not a very large company, so it's a percentage of a person. Obviously, for very large companies, the saving would be a larger and more substantial amount. There is a clear return on investment; you cannot underestimate the impact of malware and intrusion. It's hard to put a price on that, and you really only know the price when it has happened; that impact is substantial, so you can't take that risk. It's a risk reduction product, and it's really critical in the modern world.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been nothing unusual; licensing is on the mid-normal subscription, and I think the price point is market competitive, so I have absolutely no issue with the price.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Corrata, I did not evaluate other options; we went straight with Corrata. It just fit for purpose and was at the edge on the devices we wanted.
What other advice do I have?
The advice I would give to others looking into using Corrata is to assess that it's fit for purpose and that it meets your needs. It has a lot of capability, and I think it's an all-round stable, effective solution at the right price point. Any level of due diligence needs to be done with a focus on what you need as a customer, but based on what we've seen, it has tremendous capability, more capability than some of the competition, and it's unique in its patented technology. So, just assess that it's what you need, and once you do that, I'd have no hesitation in proceeding with them as a supplier.
I would highly recommend Corrata; they're very specialized in what they do, they have tremendous domain competence, and from our experience, the product is really exceptional. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Corrata.
On a scale of 1-10, I rate Corrata a 9.
