The best feature of Dell PowerEdge R-Series is the tool called OpenManage Enterprise, which allows me to manage my entire list of about 1300 servers under one consolidated pane, making the administration absolutely fantastic.

Dell PowerEdge R-Series has improved my company because I currently have to worry very little about this whole infrastructure, I know it runs reliably, and I can therefore allocate my working time differently to other areas, and I don't have to check the infrastructure every single day.

Non-vendor-specific things could benefit Dell PowerEdge R-Series. Dell has a lot of OEM material, obviously, because it is an OEM provider, but it could benefit from more AMD, more ARM, and more across the line.

Currently, it is sometimes challenging when a component gets out of fashion or is no longer available at end of life, to quickly get a drop-in replacement.

Customer service receives a rating of eight out of ten. A perfect ten cannot be given because there is always something that can be improved.

My experience with customer service is that it can sometimes be challenging because there are GPUs in that system. When there is an error and the customer support asks if I can remove all kinds of items like network cards and GPUs, I have to do that myself.

Currently, even when using SSDs or SaaS disk models in my Dell PowerEdge R-Series servers, the throughput is roughly 10%-15% lower compared to similar offerings from HPE and Lenovo.

Dell is expensive, which is a known fact. When comparing similar products, Dell often has higher prices.

This is why, when we talk about the core system, we run another system, not Dell PowerEdge R-Series.

If there are areas where Dell PowerEdge R-Series could still be improved, I find it a bit cumbersome because we have a contact in sales through whom we can order Dell PowerEdge R-Series servers, but storage is only available via certain partners.

The features I love and I struggle with each day still is the Bluetooth feature once in a while to get it working on my phone.
