Feitian IAM use cases are two-factor authentication, multi-factor authentication and privileged access management. It's a secure authentication solution dedicated to protecting local administrators, eBanking, eCommerce and mBanking solutions. It can be used to protect OWA, VMware ESXi 6.x, vSphere 8 2FA Login and other online and local portals. In my opinion SSO is its primary use case.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
Feitian IAM reduces the risk of internal and external data breaches because it provides proper identities management and give greater control to administrators.
Before Feitian IAM, our users need to input user+password+OTP for all
our internal applications, now they only need to input once. Feitian IAM
can automatically sync users from HR systems and Microsoft AD to our
CRM systems and Email system, which saved a lot of time for our IT. We
were using OTP tokens before Feitian IAM, Feitian IAM supports OTP and
FIDO2 and many others.
What is most valuable?
For us, its SSO, which is our primary purpose of involving Feitian IAM. You can customize it as your need.
What needs improvement?
So far, we are satisfied. FEITIAN has a recording feature, but if something goes wrong, you cannot revert it back the server in its previous position. FEITIAN is working on it. The solution should increase the number of reports.
For how long have I used the solution?
We are using and deploying different Second Factor Authentication (2FA) solutions since 2012. We have expertise in Data Security Systems Solutions (DS3) Server, Safenet Authentication Service (SAS) PCE, Thales Gemalto Confirm Authentication Server (CAS), FEITIAN OTP Authentication Server (FOAS) and FEITIAN Identity and Access Management. We have been using Feitian Token since 2012 and start using their 2FA Servers and IAM from 2018.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We've been working on it for three years and the servers have never crashed. Very stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution’s scalable. High availability is available.
In the beginning, we started with 7 applications only, and then we expended to 17 applications in a very short time.
I rate the solution’s scalability a seven or eight out of ten.
How are customer service and support?
Satisfactory
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
This is the first time we using IAM product. Before FTIAM We are using multiple 2FA/MFA products for app login, passwordless authentication, OS Login etc but in FTIAM you can find most of features that available on different product.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is very simple. All the requirements are there. We can deploy it in two to three hours. However, it takes time to configure their system.
I rate the initial setup an eight or nine out of ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy.
What about the implementation team?
We implement it with our team.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The product is cheap and is dependent upon the size of the corporate.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
BeyondTrust
CyberArk
What other advice do I have?
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises
