froglogic Coco Code Coverage is a code coverage tool. If you have some unit test cases already written by your team, and you would like to understand what is the coverage, specifically in the context of the computer programing language. It supports four different computer programing languages, such as C, C++, C#, and Tcl. It doesn't support more than that. However, in all these languages, regarding code coverage scenarios to be taken care of, this is a very good tool for that. It's a tool that allows you to take unit tests generated from any of the other external tools. froglogic Coco Code Coverage doesn't generate any test case. It's only a code coverage tool.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
We were partner to Frog Logic selling and supporting COCO tool for Indian clients. So effectively we did not use the tool on our own source code.
What is most valuable?
If somebody is using a kind of Squish as a regression testing tool, froglogic Coco Code Coverage can be used in parallel because these two particular products can communicate with one another.
What needs improvement?
froglogic Coco Code Coverage could improve by adding more computer programing language, it would be better. It only covers four languages.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using froglogic Coco Code Coverage for approximately four years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
froglogic Coco Code Coverage is a stable solution.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The scalability of froglogic Coco Code Coverage is very good.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We were having a code coverage tool for C, C++ in "Cantata" tool. However "Cantata" is a tool for unit and integration testing along which it gives code coverage, but we did not have any specific tool for code coverage.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of froglogic Coco Code Coverage is not straightforward, it can be a little complex.
I would rate the difficulty level of the implementation of froglogic Coco Code Coverage a three out of five.
What other advice do I have?
If someone is already using Squish as a regression tool, froglogic Coco Code Coverage can be a very handy add-on to that.
If somebody is already having some mechanism to write their unit test cases, froglogic Coco Code Coverage can be a very good tool for giving the code coverage.
The solution overall is still in development, they need to polish a few things moving forward.
I rate froglogic Coco Code Coverage a seven out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
On-premises
