Google Cloud Storage Reviews

Whenever we take pictures on the mobile, it sends the file to Google Cloud Storage since it's linked to the Gmail account. 

The solution operates in the background and it is attached to my Gmail account. When I download files to my phone, such as pictures, they automatically go to Google Cloud Storage. 

I have been able to retrieve files I have stored on Google Cloud Storage from ten years ago.

I have been using Google Cloud Storage for approximately two years.

The solution is stable.

If you are using Android and a Gmail account Google Cloud Storage is used by default. Many people are using this service and might not know.

I have not had an issue contacting support.

The solution is free unless you want to increase the GB data allowance. There is a cost if you want to increase the size of storage space which is expensive.

When I use the solution I do not check it to see if it is backing up my information. However, I have retrieved files from it from years ago.

I would recommend this solution to others.

I'm using Google Cloud Storage for storing my documents. It's mostly for personal purposes. 

Google Cloud Storage performs well and it's easy to use.

We have our native machine storage that I also use.

Installation is straightforward because it's cloud-based. 

There's no license requirement. It's just normal.

I would prefer more support for alternative operating systems like DSD. The performance could be better because sometimes there are glitches. The price could be better.

It integrates well with the Colab  platform. Everything that you create in Colab appears on your Google Drive.

I primarily use the solution for storing documents. 

It's my understanding that the solution is secure.

The solution is stable.

The scalability is very good.

There is a free-to-use version. This is the version I use.

While the solution seems to be secure, I worry that, with the cloud, there is a chance of hacking. It would be ideal if they could be more transparent about the processes they go through to keep our data secure in the cloud and on their systems. 

I'd also like it to be more clear in terms of who is accessing the files and when. I'd like to know if and when someone downloads something or if a file has been manipulated, and who has accessed or changed it, in order to protect our company's most sensitive information.

In my domain, you receive a lot of mail and a lot of publicity marketing and you need to trash them. I don't. One month ago, they told me that I have the maximum allowed storage and I would have to make space in my database. I don't have time to do that. Now, I check my email every day and I trash all things not necessary, and I'm not putting photos in it. I don't know why my database is already full. If you don't keep on top of deleting items and wait until it's almost full, it's so hard to go back and delete so much content.

I first started using the solution a few years ago. It's been a while. I would estimate it's been about six years or so at this point. 

The solution is very stable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. The performance is good.

The product can scale up if you need it to.

I've never had to reach out to Google's technical support. I haven't had any issues with it. I can't speak to how helpful or responsive they would be if you contacted them.

There's no installation process as the solution is cloud-based. You don't need to upload or install anything.

The version I use is open-source. It doesn't cost anything to use. 

I simply use this solution for my own personal purposes. 

I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten.

I have been using Google Cloud Storage to store photos.

One of the most valuable features of the solution is its ease of use.

The solution could improve by adding an automatic removal of duplications feature.

I have been using Google Cloud Storage for a couple of weeks.

I have found the solution to be stable.

I have previously used Dropbox.

The solution is flexible, there is an installation that you can do on your mobile phone and there is also a PC install, but I am using the web browser instead.

They have recently changed their pricing structures, it used to be free but now it is a paid service. However, I am on a monthly subscription and the price is reasonable. 

I would recommend this solution to others.

I use this product for information and data storage.

The most valuable features are stability and ease of use.

Having more storage space would be an improvement.

I have been using Google Cloud Storage for two years.

This is a stable product.

It appears to be scalable, and I haven't had any problem in that respect. We have between 40 and 50 users in the company. We don't have plans to increase usage at this time, although we may do so if we need to store more information.

I have not had experience with technical support for this product.

We did not use another cloud-based storage product prior to this one.

This is a good product, it is convenient to use, and I recommend it.

We are using Google Cloud in our school for our email system, and our file sharing system as well.

We use all of the Google products in our schools, such as Google mail, Google Drive, Google Meet, and Google Hangouts.

It's easy to use.

Google Meet is missing the features needed to control the machines.

Google Meet allows you to share the screen but not to control the device itself. It would be better to be able to control it.

They need more enhancements in the security features.

I have been using Google Cloud Storage for more than ten years.

Google Cloud Storage is a stable product.

The entire school is using this product and we plan to continue using it.

I have not contacted technical support. My colleague handles this area.

Previously, we were using a local file server with the Exchange email system.

I can recommend this product to others who are interested in using it.
