I primarily use this solution for troubleshooting, problem investigation, alerting, and trend analysis.

Prometheus is much better for metrics collection. I don't have much experience with other tools, but Prometheus and Grafana have somehow become the industry standard for monitoring.

I find Grafana really hard to configure. It's difficult to build the dashboard, and it's non-intuitive. In my opinion, it's very difficult to work with Grafana.

I have used this solution for two years.

It is truly reliable. We didn't face serious technical issues.

The setup is easy and takes a couple of hours. Nothing crazy.

Both Prometheus and Grafana are open source. You can purchase a license to get the online service and better support, but I am not responsible for making this decision within my company.

Some organizations are better equipped with tools like Datadog, Splunk, or other systems, but I don't have any experience with these.

I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.

I have encountered occasional issues with false inputs or incorrect data in Grafana, but I am not sure whether these stem from the tool itself or our configuration. In terms of improvements, while Grafana serves our monitoring needs well, additional functions like enhanced application flow visualization could be beneficial for providing more comprehensive insights into our systems.

I have been working with Grafana Enterprise Stack for six months.

I would rate the stability of Grafana as a seven out of ten. While we have encountered occasional issues with data loading or display, I'm not sure if these stem from Grafana itself or other factors.

I use Grafana Enterprise Stack primarily to monitor the metrics of Selenoid, focusing on checking the CPU, iOS, network, and additional metrics. I create dashboards to check the status of these metrics. I utilize it for alerting, particularly in monitoring memory issues. Additionally, I use Logstash for log searching and analysis, focusing on Linux and other logs.

The tool's most valuable feature is real-time monitoring. It helps in securing the application or the node by allowing us to monitor and manage resource consumption during peak times. For instance, from 10 AM to 2 PM, we may experience high memory utilization. It helps us to solve these issues. 

The tool has refined monitoring data. This allows us to make on-the-spot decisions. 

The tool needs to show only fewer updates. 

To ensure stability, I regularly inspect the machine and assess whether additional resources are needed. If necessary, I scale up the resources of the machine. 

I haven't encountered any issues during the implementation of a single node or in monitoring the network.

I use Google to search for answers. 

The tool's deployment is straightforward and takes six hours to complete. You just need to add your exporter and license, and then you are up and running.
