| Business Intelligence Consultant at a tech consulting company with 1,001-5,000 employees | 4.0 | I find this a powerful profiling tool that helped refine our rules. Setup was easy, service excellent, and our requirements met. I'd only wish for better scalability with terabytes and fewer source disconnections. |
| CEO at a tech company with 51-200 employees | 5.0 | I find Data Explorer a powerful, user-friendly tool for data migration, discovery, and reverse engineering across multiple databases. However, it has limited extended database support, and its interface may not appeal to all developers. |

• Data Explorer comes as a powerful tool in database development by providing complete end-to-end solution in data migration, data discovery and data extract transform load.
• It is compatible to many platforms and run in major web browsers while supporting many database management systems as well as other data sources.
• The newer versions have improved overall user experienced and usability making it suitable for tasks such as basic database development and data viewing.
• In database development tasks where metadata is heavily browsed, Data Explorer provides immediate solution thus improving understanding data integrity.
• Data Explorer lacks extended support for databases and therefore can only be used to run generic JDBC.
• The intuitive interface relies heavily on functional language and may slightly fail to appeal to developers who are used to such languages as Excel and C#.
• The libraries lack entries points that are official for developers to add the some costumed functionality in the query designer to suit their varying needs.
Being able to work with multiple databases at the same time is one of the major useful features that I personally find interesting when using Data Explorer. Reverse engineering existing databases has not being easy for me while in the same time maintaining identity dependency. Data explore provides substantial support in this field and boast my confidence due to the friendly and supportive interface.
