What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Lumigo is microservice monitoring in my day-to-day experience.
A specific example of how I use Lumigo for microservice monitoring involves comparing it to other tools such as Dynatrace and CloudWatch. Lumigo is different, particularly in terms of the UI, which works well for me. The tool can alert us when Lambda functions have errors, and it works not only with Lambda but also with agents and other integrations.
In my current role as a DevOps engineer, I have been deploying agents, and my main responsibility is troubleshooting and monitoring. I need to receive alerts in the appropriate place, and Lumigo helps us more effectively than Dynatrace or other tools we have. The version upgrades you have been working with are good.
What is most valuable?
The best features Lumigo offers are troubleshooting and alerts.
What I appreciate about the troubleshooting and alerts is that while they are similar to other tools, I prefer Lumigo from the UI perspective. Any new member, whether from the development side or business team, finds the user-friendly UI easy to understand. This is the reason I have been recommending it.
Lumigo has impacted my organization positively, but we are in a starting phase and have not explored it deeply. Our people need to use this tool more, and we have not yet fully adapted to it.
What needs improvement?
I think support needs to be improved.
Lumigo can be improved particularly in support. When comparing it with AWS monitoring, Dynatrace, or other solutions, if we encounter any trouble, everyone looks for support. If your team could improve support, it will be valuable for any company.

Since we are still in the early stages, the main things I hope to achieve with Lumigo as my team starts using it more are ongoing based on requirements. Integration is not a direct process with our application; there is a specific process involved. When we integrate with an enterprise solution, there are specific needs to be met. It is not simply about using the tool; it needs to be adapted to the enterprise system. I rate this review seven out of ten overall.
