Proactive microservice monitoring has improved alerts while support still needs to grow
The best features Lumigo offers are troubleshooting and alerts. What I appreciate about the troubleshooting and alerts is that while they are similar to other tools, I prefer Lumigo from the UI perspective. Any new member, whether from the development side or business team, finds the user-friendly UI easy to understand. This is the reason I have been recommending it. Lumigo has impacted my organization positively, but we are in a starting phase and have not explored it deeply. Our people need to use this tool more, and we have not yet fully adapted to it.

Pros

"Any new member, whether from the development side or business team, finds the user-friendly UI easy to understand."
"Real User Monitor has improved our productivity."
"Real User Monitoring tools help proactively identify problems before they become critical by monitoring thresholds. There is a threshold and an SOA threshold."
"It is a good product."
"The most valuable feature is application performance monitoring."
"Real User Monitor does its job, and that is why we have stayed with it for so many years."
"This solution is very reliable; it's stable."
"We use RUM and BSM and so far it has been really good at getting real user transactions from a real user monitor and then tying it to a BSM single view dashboard, where we get the whole realistic picture."
"The Micro Focus technical support is quite good."

Cons

"I think support needs to be improved."
"We would like to see support for non-Windows environments."
"I have to say that I am very disappointed with this solution. It's very heavy, and it is a nightmare to deploy and maintain."
"If it is a standalone solution, however, I would not recommend Micro Focus."
"Everybody is moving away from traffic and installing agents on the application to do the job, but Micro Focus is using traditional ways to collect the traffic. They should change their architecture completely."
"Most of the dashboards require a lot of configuration. We are not happy with the dashboard."
"The solution's technical support presents a lot of issues with too many delays."
"There have been some issues with customers implementing this solution and with login errors, which could be areas for improvement."
"Recently we have been facing some stability issues."
