Microsoft Dynamics is my comfort zone in the application in the finance module. I am familiar with analytics features such as Microsoft Power BI. Regarding sales forecasting, we mainly use Power BI in our analysis for sales, not the application reports. It's a limitation only in the reporting because Microsoft Power BI is excellent for creating reports or customizing dashboards; Microsoft Dynamics focuses on functions, not reporting. In Egypt, we haven't used the AI features yet, so it's too soon to judge this feature. The pricing structure is clearly defined, but it's just too expensive. So far, there are no specific issues regarding the cloud. Even with businesses in sectors that can afford it, retail solutions in Microsoft Dynamics are not as strong compared to LS Business Central. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Microsoft Dynamics a 7 out of 10.

I find the Power Apps integration and the standardized table structure most valuable. When Wernher von Braun left NASA in 1972 or so and retired, almost nothing was working anymore at NASA, especially not the Space Shuttle, the new Space Shuttle program. The problem was that he was organizing all of that stuff in his brain. He had an eidetic memory. So, the Pentagon said, 'If those people don't grow on trees, we have to formalize that one.' That was the beginning of the formalization of directory servers, such as Active Directory, which is a direct follow-up of that development. With Microsoft Dynamics, I have the same for ERP systems because any ERP system has to have the notion of what an earnings report is, what a contact is, stuff like that. And that one has been standardized in specific table structures I can use. Of course, I can build my own table structures encompassing that one, but that's unnecessary work.

From my experience, what really stands out in Microsoft Dynamics is that it has many features and is easy to customize. If it is customized according to the right requirement, then I am saving a lot of time and it is very convenient. The customizable dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics are good, pretty good. We are satisfied with that. I assess the integrations of Microsoft Dynamics with Office 365 and LinkedIn as easy. We are not connected with LinkedIn, but we are connected with Office 365. In Microsoft Dynamics, once it is fine-tuned, we are able to know all aspects of our organization, ERP and CRM, in one window, including the important things and important reports.
