So as a medical facility, we offer services such as dental, optometry, and behavioral health. To make the registration process easier for new patients, we have created patient packages that are accessible through various links on our website. These links direct the patients to AssureSign, where they can access the registration packets that we have uploaded and created. Patients can sign the packets, and then they are sent back to us for processing.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
The processes followed in our medical facility would have been much more difficult if we had to do it in person or create a new website for people to sign up as patients. AssureSign streamlines everything for us, and since we have to comply with HIPAA regulations for health protocols in the United States, having a secure product that allows us to be HIPAA compliant is important. We can put patient information on AssureSign, and patients can enter their own information safely, meeting the standards required by medical organizations.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of the solution is how it provides our business the ability to create and secure documents whenever needed.
What needs improvement?
The administrative user interface used to create users and track templates and envelopes for our product is outdated. Now we're on the AssureSign side and not the Nintex side, so I don't know if they are different products. If Nintex AssureSign is one product, then they have given it an outdated feel and look.
If I had more experience with other similar programs, like DocuSign, that I used years ago, I might have been able to give more concrete or better feedback on what additional features are to be included in the tool.
For how long have I used the solution?
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten. There haven't been any problems at our workplace using the solution.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Since we haven't used the solution to a great extent, I rate the solution's scalability a seven out of ten. In my company, we have about 20 people who are added as users on our side, and we have hundreds of people who might use the product from our patients' end. So, it may run into thousands. Also, we will be increasing the solution's usage. We are growing our facilities, and so we'll be adding people to it. But it won't be too much since we might add another 10-20 internal users.
How are customer service and support?
I rate the technical support an eight out of ten. Nintex AssureSign's technical support is good but slow.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
How was the initial setup?
The solution's initial setup process was a bit complex. So the initial setup of the product is fine. But creating all of the 50 or 60 templates that we use took us a long time to create, and that was a little bit of a learning process. But the person from Nintex AssureSign who helped us was very, very good and really did help us quite a bit. So they worked with us the whole time.
We are using Nintex AssureSign in our company on the cloud.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I don't have visibility into the pricing of the solution.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
DocuSign was one of the products we evaluated before choosing Nintex AssureSign. Also, an Adobe product that I can't remember the name of was evaluated by us. We looked at four total solutions, but that was over three years ago, so I don't remember all the names.
What other advice do I have?
I don't know if my advice is still relevant, but I suggest that in any project with any vendor, it's essential to set up everything with the support team on the product side before going live and before being handed over to the support side of the product. Working with the initial rollout team can get a lot more done than trying to do it after the rollout and opening tickets for support. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.
