When I say it is user-friendly and intuitive, the interface itself is very intuitive as far as a brand new user could log in and with a few clicks figure out where things live and how to make changes really easily.

The reporting aspect of Paycom is not my favorite. The lack of a sandbox and the lack of being able to view as a different viewer is extremely frustrating in this system.

Whenever we try to use it on the web, it fluctuates a lot. The reload time for a screen is huge.

It is also very time-consuming to set up the system, so if someone is looking to set up a system very quickly within one month, it would be incredibly overwhelming.

What I dislike about Paycom is that they charge for everything, which is frustrating because they recently added succession planning as an add-on that is not free.

I think that there are some limitations to Paycom, including being able to date certain things in the future, such as accrual profiles or if someone's department is not changing for another week or two.

Paycom has a lot of things to improve, especially customer service, which is very difficult because they change the account manager frequently, so we don't know who we're going to talk to.

But then as the reps get promoted and you get a new rep, the user experience goes to garbage on the back end because they either are not familiar with the platform yet or just are not as good or as invested.

Paycom can improve with the utilization of the interactive chatting capability and by providing users with alternative options on how to utilize the knowledge-based database to help users learn new information and keep updated with training sessions.

When they had an update, we had a lot of issues with Paycom, but they have addressed it, and after that, we have not seen any.

I rate Paycom an eight because we are a complex organization that has a lot of secondary jobs and it is not user friendly when employees are trying to clock into those secondary jobs if they are not on the schedule; they have to select too many fields to be able to clock into the correct position.
