Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is helping us monitor who is doing what and who is sharing data over emails, whether within the organization or outside the organization. The most primary use case is securing our data and ensuring customer confidential information is not shared outside the organization.

One classic example is tracking whether any PII information, such as Aadhaar card numbers, account numbers, employee IDs, or professional email addresses in India, are being shared outside the organization.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP provides many out-of-the-box use cases and best practices which help us utilize those and, to some extent, edit them as per our requirements to segregate the data.

Data recovery and classification is valuable, as it classifies where sensitive data such as PII information, IP, or financial data lives and helps classify it according to the data segregation or data category it falls into.

It has helped us tremendously to ensure our esteemed customers that whatever data our SMEs, security practice team, or SecOps team uses or may access from their customer data is being kept safe with us and is not being shared across the organization or outside the organization. That is one of the assurances we can give to customers while relying on Proofpoint Enterprise DLP.

I have examples where a few team members or employees mistakenly, or maybe intentionally, shared customer data over email, and those were caught by Proofpoint Enterprise DLP. This triggers an alert to our security team, and they immediately investigate those emails and the data. That helps us educate our employees and set up awareness trainings for them so that they are aware of which data can be shared over email and which should not be.

Currently, it seems to have all the features enabled. However, if Proofpoint could create some custom or out-of-the-box dashboards which help the organization, or CIO or CISO-level people, to get a view of how much data is being shared within a week or month, they could plan internal trainings or speak to their cybersecurity teams to improve the security posture or the use cases they have deployed.

Custom or out-of-the-box dashboards for CIO or CXO level people would help more.

I have been in cybersecurity for ten years since 2016.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is quite stable. I have not seen any downtime or anything of that nature.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is scalable and configurable and can support any kind of infrastructure and any kind of networks. Scalability-wise, Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is fine.

Customer support is excellent. They provide support as per the SLAs they have, depending upon the situation and depending upon the case we open with them. Support is perfectly fine.

We are using Proofpoint Enterprise DLP currently. We did not work on another solution and migrate to Proofpoint.

Integrations, support, and other things are easy to use, more user-friendly and architect-friendly. I do not have anything to add.

We do have a partnership or alliance team who help us in setting up, initiating discussions, or taking them to the final stage or the solutioning stage.

The return on the investment is in securing the organization data, training the people, and making sure that the data which lies with our organization or our department is safe.

The market value or market standard which Proofpoint holds means the cost is as per the services they offer. The licensing model is perfectly fine.

We did not explore other options because we know what kind of services or assurance Proofpoint gave customers, so we chose Proofpoint directly.

Based on our experience and my experience, I usually prefer to recommend Proofpoint Enterprise DLP to customers and friends who are working in other organizations. I convince them with the level of services or level of assurance we are getting from Proofpoint Enterprise DLP. I share my experience with them to encourage them to opt for Proofpoint Enterprise DLP. I would rate this product a nine out of ten.

Something that stood out to me most from the seminar is how they are integrating AI with Proofpoint Enterprise DLP and that is very interesting, especially in the current time where AI is affecting so much of data loss. I think that is a very good feature.

Something that we have been seeing recently in the company is how the users and the people at the company are using AI and how that can affect or sometimes leak company data, which is definitely not good in terms of client privacy. Something that can help us catch who is using AI, not company-affiliated AI, is crucial so that we can ensure privacy and protect client data.

The best features that Proofpoint Enterprise DLP offers, based on what I learned from the seminar, include user behavior analysis, content and context awareness features, and cross-channel visibility with email, cloud, and endpoints all covered in one view. Adaptive risk scoring is valuable as well because it helps prioritize real threats instead of alert fatigue.

I feel that the features of Proofpoint Enterprise DLP are good, especially for our company. Data is not just sitting in one place; it moves across, and having everything visible in one place gives us more visibility. Controls are stronger on access and this adds control on usage. For adaptive risk scoring, this is powerful because we can make context-aware decisions.

I feel Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is quite advanced, but there are a few areas for improvement. Since I am in IAM, stronger IAM integration could help us or more transparency in AI decisions and AI-driven risk scoring would be beneficial. Better workflow automation so that we have to do less manual chasing would be good.

A smoother onboarding or learning curve would be something that would be helpful.

I have been working in my current field for about eight months.

I feel it appears to be highly scalable, especially for larger enterprises. It is cloud-native, handles high data volume, is centrally managed, and has elastic scaling. Overall, it does seem well-suited for large distributed environments.

I have heard that the customer support for Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is generally positive. Many use cases report the support to be responsive and helpful, and it is well-rated in the market as well. I believe it is good.

We have had exposure to Symantec DLP, which is more of a rule-heavy reactive approach compared to something more context-aware and proactive like Proofpoint Enterprise DLP features with better prioritization and efficiency for analysis.

Based on what I learned, I feel Proofpoint Enterprise DLP appears quite effective, especially because it combines user behavior and context awareness rather than relying on static rules alone. Its real strength is shifting DLP from reactive detection to more proactive risk identification, though its effectiveness would still depend on how well it is integrated and tuned within the organization.

I am not sure if I am in a position of giving advice to others looking into Proofpoint Enterprise DLP, but I would say to treat it as a strategic and context-aware DLP tool and not just as a regular rule engine. I feel that they will get much better results.

I definitely feel time would be saved because most of the regular routine tasks will be automated. That is a plus.

Adaptive policy enforcement basically means policies do not act the same way for every user or every situation. For an analyst, it will allow them to focus on high-risk incidents while automating routine decisions.

The unified platform aspect of Proofpoint Enterprise DLP improves visibility, reduces complexity, and makes security operations more effective.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP sounds to be great software, and it feels to me that it is a strong shift in how DLP is evolving. Instead of just enforcing rules, it is moving forward, understanding user behavior and intent, which is much closer to how real data risks happen. If implemented well, it is less about blocking everything and more about making smarter risk-based decisions, which is where I think DLP needs to go. I would rate this review a seven out of ten.

My main use case for Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is email filtering for both spam and malicious attachments and phishing.

The volume of things that it catches that are important is high. The benefit so far has been that we haven't had any serious compromises as a result of phishing attempts or malicious attachments that came through.

It certainly keeps our users' inboxes clean.

The fact that we haven't had any serious security incidents related to malicious attachments is a testament to the solution's impact on our organization positively.

It saves us a good amount of time, which has impacted our team's workload and our organization's security posture overall.

In my experience, the best feature of Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is quarantine management, and the thoroughness of the solution is appreciated.

I have no complaints about how Proofpoint Enterprise DLP can be improved.

If one is looking for a bulletproof solution, then Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is the answer.

I feel confident enough in the solution's effectiveness in detecting and preventing threats through the analysis of email content and user behavior that I would choose to keep it, even if we switch to Microsoft E5 licenses, and we have had no incidents to speak of related to malicious attachments or malware infections.

I don't really see the unified platform aspect of Proofpoint Enterprise DLP as unified. It's an additional layer, and we are okay with that additional layer of security.

My main use case for Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is data protection, which I rely on most in my day-to-day work.

An example of how I use it for data protection in my work would be to prevent inaccurate sending of data or incorrect recipients, potentially mass mail outs to the wrong mail group.

The best features Proofpoint Enterprise DLP offers, which stand out to me, are the ease of use and integration into the current email gateway.

The ease of use is evident as it makes detection easier and reduces time and triage effort.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP has impacted my organization positively by being advantageous for us in terms of reduced impact from personal information leaving the organization.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP can be improved; the UI can always use work, but I don't have any real frustration points at the moment.

One of the main reasons that our customers seem to be using Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is for email security and also the built-in training features.

Proofpoint Enterprise DLP is absolutely used to prevent phishing and data mining, which most of the customers I work with really appreciate. The training features that are built in allow them to customize for each agent's specific needs.

The features that allow them to protect their emails and servers using Proofpoint Enterprise DLP are valuable.

The threat detection is really excellent with Proofpoint Enterprise DLP and the way that it is able to see the threats before they become or before they enter the company is remarkable.

I didn't hear anything specific about how Proofpoint Enterprise DLP has impacted my customers' organizations positively, but everybody seems very satisfied.
