What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Remedio is that as a vulnerability management engineer, it helps me identify the complete vulnerability work process, and it is very helpful.
A specific example of how I use Remedio in my day-to-day work is that it helps me autonomously manage remediation for devices and AI devices, and it has helped me fix the most critical vulnerabilities and remediate most of the critical issues.
Previously, when we remediated any vulnerabilities, we needed to reach out to the platform team to fix the issue, but with Remedio, it is very helpful to remediate vulnerabilities and it has recently adopted AI-related features to support this.
How has it helped my organization?
Remedio has positively impacted my organization by helping us gain multiple recognitions for our automation and integration efforts, which bridged the gap between the vulnerability management team and the platform team.
In terms of specific outcomes, the mean time to remediation has been reduced by almost 50%. Before using Remedio, it would take seven to ten days to remediate critical vulnerabilities, and since starting with Remedio, we have not faced any SLA breaches.
What is most valuable?
The best features Remedio offers include automation and daily reporting, which as a vulnerability management engineer, I need to automate manual work and automatically generate reports for the concerned team for notification, as well as helping me remediate the complete identified vulnerabilities.
Remedio includes customizable dashboards and strong alerting, as it automates a lot of manual work, such as automatically picking up new vulnerabilities and sending notifications to the concerned team for remediation, and creating multiple dashboards to present to stakeholders and the business team.
What needs improvement?
I would suggest adding more AI-related features to help new users understand how to access the console.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Remedio for almost two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
In my experience, Remedio is stable with no issues.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Remedio's scalability is good.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support for Remedio is good with no issues.
I would rate the customer support a nine on a scale of one to ten.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Previously, we were only using a manual process without any other solutions.
What was our ROI?
We have definitely seen a return on investment, as using Remedio allows us to reduce our resource needs for vulnerability activities by almost fifty to sixty percent compared to when we had seven or eight team members.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I find that the pricing is not cheap, but we can utilize it effectively since it doesn't have extremely high costs and falls within a medium range.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We did not evaluate other options before choosing Remedio, as management directly considered it.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate Remedio a nine out of ten.
The reason I chose nine out of ten is that Remedio has significantly reduced the time it takes to complete my workload, but I believe there is potential for improvement, particularly with additional AI features.
Regarding Remedio's AI capabilities, we definitely need to follow governance and security rules.
While Remedio's AI will not provide complete accuracy, if AI features are available, users without prior knowledge can understand the process better.
Remedio is deployed in a hybrid cloud environment because we use both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
We use multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure, with most of our resources currently from the AWS platform.
My advice to others looking into using Remedio is that it can significantly reduce manual work and assist with reporting and creating dashboards.
