Discontinuation of Hardware and limited firewalling capabilities

What is most valuable?



It has an MDM solution. Another good feature the solution offers is to secure data to avoid breaches. 


What needs improvement?



Seqrite UTM is not good in fireballing solutions. They are good in EPS endpoint security and antivirus. And load antivirus.

Moreover, this solution is not accurate. Sometimes, the switches got stuck. So sometimes, whatever policies we have deployed were not working properly.  


For how long have I used the solution?



I have been with this product for six months. 

Seqrite UTM has stopped producing hardware parts. Now, they are only producing EPS endpoint security and antivirus. They no longer manufacture UTM firewalls. 


What do I think about the stability of the solution?



It is not very stable. 


What do I think about the scalability of the solution?



The solution is scalable. We work with SMB. 


How are customer service and support?



The customer service and support are not bad. It is okay. 



How would you rate customer service and support?



Positive



How was the initial setup?



The solution is easy to install. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes. Some customer has deployed it on premises and some on cloud. 


What about the implementation team?



One engineer is enough for the deployment. However, maintenance is not required, but sometimes customers face some problems, so then we need an engineer. Sometimes, the problem is because of their own, sometimes from the firewall. For example, one of our team got reset. I don't know why the solution got reset, so all those settings were set to default. So we need to send an engineer to reinstall it again. These are the problems we faced in this.


What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?



It is a very cheap solution. The licensing model is on a yearly basis. It is a three-year licensing model. 


What other advice do I have?



Overall, I would rate the solution a four out of ten. For UTM, I will not suggest Seqrite. But for EPS and antivirus, it is good.

Cost-wise also and some features. The features wise also, it is good. And support is also good. We can get support on WhatsApp. So support-wise, it is also good.
