We primarily use it for endpoint protection. 

The anti-ransomware engine and the crypto-guard capability are most valuable. 

DeepGuard and CryptoGuard, those engines, basically shield against encryption attempts. They detect and block suspicious behavior before your files get locked.

The network isolation feature is brilliant. Sophos firewalls work seamlessly with the endpoint suite. If a threat pops up anywhere on the network, the firewalls and endpoints communicate instantly, allowing us to isolate the infected device and stop it from spreading.

The solution needs to perform better or update its anti-ransomware and anti-malware engines to keep up with the latest hacking techniques.

So, I would like to see a better update on the anti-malware engine.

I have been using it for three years now. 

It is a stable solution. I would rate the stability a ten out of ten. 

It is very scalable. I would rate the scalability a nine out of ten. 

My clients are a mix of small, medium, or enterprise businesses.

There is room for improvement in the support. More easily available contact numbers would be good.

I would rate the initial setup experience a nine out of ten, with ten being very easy.

The deployment time depends on your environment. For a full site, it will take eight hours using Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to push it through as long as all machines are on the network simultaneously. Otherwise, it'll take longer.

The pricing is reasonable. The license cost depends on the number of employees you cover.

I would suggest opting for a fully cloud environment, as it's a cloud-based infrastructure.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.

I use Sophos EPP Suite for Sophos Connect Version 2.2.90.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it works fine.

The product is not secured and doesn't offer a fast connection. From an improvement perspective, the product should be made more secure and should be able to provide a faster connection to users.

Whether my company plans to increase the solution's usage depends on our company's usage, requirements, and infrastructure side, where we already use the firewall from Sophos along with the VPN services provided by Sophos.

My company has contacted the technical support team of Sophos, and our experience with them has been good.

I don't know whether the solution's setup phase was complex or easy since it was a process taken care of by my company's IT team.

My company did not seek help from outside, so the deployment was carried out in-house since my company has a policy that states that the deployment model should be on-premises only.

A yearly subscription has to be purchased or made towards the licensing cost of the solution. The solution is an affordable or an economical one for corporate houses. I don't know if there is any additional cost support from the standard licensing fees of the solution.

I use Sophos Connect client for VPN. The speed of the connection depends on one's network infrastructure.

I recommend the solution to those who plan to use it.

Those who want VPN connections can definitely go ahead with Sophos since it offers good features and security.

I rate the overall solution a ten out of ten.

In addition to security features such as IPS/IDS and user control, the software can also be used for accounting purposes by integrating with Active Directory or LDAP services. It allows for managing usage, traffic shaping, and launching connection portals for Wi-Fi or hot-spotting. Additionally, it can be connected to endpoints for client control and auditing.

The most valuable feature of Sophos EPP Suite is the accounting and reporting services are good and professional. The business features of the solution are very useful, such as the reporting page for clients. It provides a clear understanding of usage, including how much traffic has been used and how much is remaining. Additionally, it's user-friendly and easy to understand. Overall, the solution is good, useful, and has a helpful user interface.

The solution could be improved in terms of the performance of the appliances. Sometimes the appliances in the market can be quite large. Additionally, in comparison to other appliances, such as FortiGate, Cisco Firepower, or ASA, it could be improved in terms of package processing or traffic handling.

I have been using Sophos EPP Suite for approximately two years.

Sophos EPP Suite is stable, but not as stable as enterprise solutions. In my opinion, the Fortinet FortiGate solution is more stable than Sophos EPP Suite, but it's more difficult to manage and has a higher cost for its cloud management features compared to Sophos EPP Suite.

If you use an appliance, it can be challenging to scale. However, we can use solutions, such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for cloud-based services or private cloud-based services with Kubernetes and Calico. Additionally, we can use a firewall for managing traffic on the internet or LAN and internal networks. We can integrate Sophos EPP Suite with enterprise solutions, such as Cisco ACI for managing role policies, among other things.

We have around 400 to 500 users who are clients for our service on our internal network. Additionally, in our IDC we have thousands of clients who receive services from us.

The technical support for Sophos EPP Suite is good and easy to use. We have access to a lot of helpful information on the internet and in the Sophos community, which we often use for assistance. Additionally, if we ever have any issues or concerns, we are able to get the help we need from Sophos support.

The setup process is generally easy and straightforward, but in enterprise networks, certain aspects can pose challenges. For example, managing loan and alias setup can be difficult in heavy-duty networks like zero-trusted or macro-segmented networks. The hands-off role and access roles make it a bit harder to manage and find access or maintain them. It would be beneficial to improve those features and make them more user-friendly.

We first created a network design based on the company's policies, such as security and performance. Then we prepared the switching for co-processing at Layer 3. We used two modes, one arm, and two arms. One arm mode is less restrictive and has a lower trust level for enterprise networks, but it's suitable for small businesses or low-level businesses that want to handle Wi-Fi or similar tasks. However, for high-security or high-performance requirements, we used the router at Layer 3 and the firewall. In some networks, we used macro-segmentation and created VLANs, such as two, four, or five to separate different types of networks. Then we deployed access nodes on Sophos EPP Suite to manage them.

In some instances, we implemented IPS/IDS for access between these VLANs, even for internal traffic and that segment. For example, for traffic going from the southwest, southeast, and northeast, we used Sophos EPP Suite for traffic management, routing, and similar tasks.

The license cost for Sophos EPP Suite depends on the features you want to use. For example, if you want to use advanced features, such as web application firewalling, the cost may be higher. In general, I believe the licensing cost is reasonable.

Before deciding on the Sophos EPP Suite, we considered other options, such as Kaspersky and Bitdefender. These solutions were very effective, but they lack central management capabilities, which makes them difficult to maintain. For this reason, we ultimately recommended Sophos EPP Suite for medium-sized businesses because it offers central management and requires fewer human resources to manage. However, one downside is that it can be risky to rely on a single brand for all solutions, as a vulnerability in one software could compromise the entire network, especially for high-tech and high-security environments.

I recommend Sophos EPP Suite for small and medium businesses.

Sophos EPP Suite is a good solution, particularly in its latest version. It has a variety of modules for web applications and has the ability to run password checks or disable certain features. This allows for flexibility and ensures that the solution remains active even if one feature is compromised. It's a unique and effective solution.

I rate Sophos EPP Suite an eight out of ten.

The primary use case of this solution is to protect our endpoints, computers, laptops, and mobile devices.

The solution has increased user productivity by not having encountered any downtime.

The most valuable feature is endpoint detection and response.

Maintaining the solution is not difficult because there is a nice-looking dashboard that we benefit from. The dashboard allows us to see the most critical and priority endpoints that need monitoring.

The solution is expensive and can be improved by lowering the cost.

I would like to have the capability to support legacy operating systems because the majority now don't support Windows XP, and Windows 2000. We still have business applications that have vendors using Windows XP.

I have been working with the solution for over ten years.

The solution is very stable.

The solution is easily scalable because it's in the cloud and we can push the agents using our Cafea solution. We can even deploy the applications to our remote branches easily.

We currently have four people using the solution and if the number of computers increases we can scale up by increasing the number of licenses.

Previously we used Symantec and Trend Micro. We switched to Sophos EPP Suite because we were given a lower cost.

The initial setup is very straightforward. We only need to install the solution onto a laptop or desktop and we use Cafea to push the different agents.

The deployment took 60 working days.

We have system integrators that help us with the implementation and after the implementation, we take over.

ROI is based more on users' productivity rather than the financial value. The solution allows our employees to use their computers without the fear of losing data due to malware or ransomware.

The solution for an enterprise license costs around 13 million Philippine pesos. Based on the features that are included I rate the cost of the solution a seven out of ten.

Before using the solution we must first identify the number of computers and servers. The license is per computer. It's better to have visibility on the number of endpoints we want to protect.

We have been working with Sophos products for the last seven to eight years, providing a complete stack to customers. We are selling everything except cloud security, including hardware, software security, mobile security, endpoint security, and gateway security appliances.

We are promoting Sophos products, and the feedback is always positive. The central management console means everything is accessible in one central location, so users do not need to visit multiple websites or consoles to check logs and events.

I mainly use this software for managing my business operations and enabling efficient port forwarding to make my applications accessible on the Internet. It helps me handle my portfolio needs and occasionally aids in device management for monitoring network traffic.

Sophos EPP Suite stands out with its user-friendly dashboard and strong web filtering features for enhanced online security.

In terms of improvement, the main challenge is setting up VPN connections. I have tried online resources and even turned to Kubernetes for help, but the primary issue I face is the complexity of creating VPN connections, and I'm seeking ways to make this process easier. Additionally, I have also faced difficulties with web filtering. In future Sophos releases, I would like to see simplified processes. For example, make port forwarding setup take just two or three clicks, streamline web filtering to two or three steps, and ease the separation of PCs from mobile devices within five clicks. The aim is to make these tasks more user-friendly and less time-consuming.

I have been working with Sophos EPP Suite for a few years.

It is a stable solution. I would give it an eight out of ten for stability.

In my personal usage, I have set up Sophos EPP Suite for two scenarios. The first has over 50 users, and the second, in a hospital, has fewer than 60 users. The second deployment is still in the testing phase, with around 15 active machines on the network currently.

I usually turn to internet searches and Sophos documentation from their website for help when I face issues or have specific needs, so I haven't needed to contact Sophos technical support directly.

I have experience with SonicWall. I used it about twelve years ago.

The initial deployment is quite easy and it takes less than an hour to deploy the solution. Setting up the basic installation and getting internet access is straightforward. However, complexity arises when trying to apply specific rules to the system, which can be a real challenge. I'm not currently handling maintenance for this product in the client's environment. In the past, I attempted to do so by trying to renew licenses for two devices, but the response was negative. I'm considering trying again and hoping for a better outcome in the future.

I find the pricing of the product to vary in different ranges. While it is not overly expensive, it can be a significant cost from the client's perspective, which makes me cautious about spending the money. I would rate it as a seven out of ten in terms of affordability.

I would definitely recommend Sophos EPP Suite to others. Overall, I would rate it as an eight out of ten.

We use the solution for endpoint security to protect critical positions within our organization. This involves securing connectivity and network access for these positions. Due to the pandemic, we had to limit on-site operations, but now we plan to extend this security to other users as well, including normal users. This expansion will include firewall protection for endpoints to ensure comprehensive network security.

We were concerned about the threat posed by malware. The product's effectiveness in addressing this threat and capturing it within the network has been quite helpful.

The product's resource utilization is a concern, especially regarding memory usage on systems with older specifications such as lower memory and less powerful processors. Installing the product on these systems can lead to slowdowns due to resource consumption. If the product's resource demands can be reduced, it would greatly improve the user experience, especially for end users with less powerful hardware. 

I have worked with Sophos EPP Suite for almost five years.

We seek support for the product through a local vendor who in turn contacts Sophos.

Sophos is quite cost-effective for our organization’s needs. It also has local support and that is why we use it, compared to other software like Cisco. 

The initial setup is straightforward. 

While currently, we don’t need assistance, in the future, we might require assistance from integrators or other solution providers due to the increasing complexity of our organization. As we move towards face-to-face setups, additional requirements might arise.

We sell all Sophos products. We are a distributor. So, I only see the business from the partner's perspective.

We sell the entire EPP product range of Sophos.

It's a pretty good product. It's on level with other products in the market.

The integration within Sophos is pretty good. It is acceptable if you talk about integration with other SIEMs or other technologies, but it is EPP.

It's not a very specialized product for the Endpoint. It's interesting if you are a customer, you buy the next-generation firewall, you buy everything from Sophos, and you have a completely integrated view. And then you don't care about the fact that probably there is a specialized product that can do something more.

Sophos needs to have better CNA and better software solutions.

I would also like to see more integration with different platforms. 

I would rate the stability a six out of ten. 

Our customers are mainly medium-sized companies. There is also a mix of some small companies, as we are in Italy and have very few large companies.

The customer service and support are pretty good. Even they're not an Italian company, they now have a very large support for the Italian company. 

Normally, the business partner that chooses to sell it is because they use Sophos, they know Sophos, and it's pretty accessible in terms of the features that the product has. 

Honestly, Sophos is not our gold mine, it's a product just like another.

If I were to recommend any endpoint, it would be Cylance.

From my perspective, it is not the most expensive, it is aligned with the market.

It's not a very specialized product for the Endpoint. It's interesting if you are a customer, you buy the next-generation firewall, you buy everything from Sophos, and you have a completely integrated view. And then you don't care about the fact that probably there is a specialized product that can do something more.

Overall, I would rate it a seven out of ten. It is an acceptable product but probably not the best you can buy in terms of endpoints. It could be very interesting if you have a complete vision of Sophos products, just like Fortinet.

It is acceptable. You have to consider you want to be a general cybersecurity company. 

So, for specific products, you can find someone who could be more aggressive in terms of being aligned to the latest kind of attack or something like that. 

If you consider the generalist vendor in cybersecurity, just like Fortinet, just like Sophos, they are pretty good.

We use Sophos EPP Suite as an antivirus software for our computers.

The platform's most valuable features are online accessibility and mobile device protection.

Sophos EPP Suite's support services need improvement. They take a long time to reply to queries every time.
