Force10 TeraScale E-Series leverages a unique three CPU architecture that distributes switching, routing and management functionalities between three distinct processors, ensuring that an attack on one function does not impact the rest of the system. If you are considering TerraScale you should compare with the competition and determine which product will give them the best efficiency versus price. Efficiency in terms of capacity, or cost per terabyte. That is the only factor.
