Trend Micro Web Security is a great product. It is compatible with anything on the market in my opinion. It is very competitive and very flexible. This is a product which Trend Micro has offered for at least 20 years, and it has always been top of the line.
With all Trend Micro products, if Trend Micro has the technology, because sometimes with zero-day exploits, Trend Micro is not the first to discover them. However, with Zero Trust because Trend Micro leads the Zero Trust initiative organization, which is responsible for 74% of all discovered vulnerabilities, in my view, this means that Trend Micro discovers any vulnerability three out of four times first. Sitting on this knowledge, I can say that each Trend Micro product which has these technologies integrated is one of the best possible technologies to stop real-time threats.
I would rate Trend Micro Web Security a nine, but not because I have some issues in mind. I have only seen a bit better product. I was also a McAfee partner some time ago, when there was still McAfee. Some features definitely in McAfee were better than what I see in Trend Micro.
I cannot tell what Trend Micro could learn from web security products of their competitors because this product has not existed for at least eight years now for McAfee, and I have no experience with other competitors. But relative to my experience and expertise, I should rate it a ten, but still I am a bit cautious because other products also have great features and these features are not covered 100% by Trend Micro.
I cannot tell what additional features I would like to see in the next release, but when I see such a feature, it is very compelling. When you get into a new car and this car has something new and great, adaptive suspension, whatever, you just feel a nice feeling and you want this car. That is how I feel. I have not complained that something is missing from Trend Micro product, but I have seen in specific examples some great ideas in competition.

The response time is poor. I cannot exactly tell the reason, but we always have to depend on our connections with the distributor and regional account management from Trend Micro in case of technical issues. This is not completely great because if we create a technical incident with Trend Micro, it can take months, literally. This is not for simple questions because we have the largest customers in the country, and usually they resolve the easy ones themselves. We also have quite a bit of experience with Trend Micro products and are able to cover 50 to 80% of the other cases and issues they have. However, with this remaining 20%, when we create a technical incident with Trend Micro, it can take literally months, and this is very problematic.

If you have the proper experience, yes, this is possible. Trend Micro Web Security is an enterprise product that is not exactly easy to configure, but it is quite within the expected usage scenarios.
The DLP product is very easy to configure, but it lacks a lot of enterprise-requested features. This is compliance-only DLP and is suitable only for compliance, not suitable for any enterprise scenario.
I can say that we usually do not lose business because of price. However, I have no vision on their competitors and how they position the pricing of their competitive products. So I have just an opinion from Trend Micro's side. From a licensing standpoint, the Vision One product portfolio has a licensing model which is literally great. No matter what you buy, at any point within the license validity, you can change your mind, choose a different product, and you just need to have enough licenses to cover your current expectations for usage. No other vendor I have seen allows this flexibility, and in these terms, Trend Micro is great. I cannot tell about the other vendors. We have sometimes strong competitive scenarios and have to compete with very strong competition, but it is the usual situation.
Otherwise, Trend Micro Web Security is definitely suitable for mid-sized businesses and for any enterprise up to my knowledge about requirements, whether distributed or not distributed, home use or not home use. All Trend Micro products, specifically Trend Micro Web Security, support a hybrid model. You can either implement a proxy on-premise or use the cloud proxy when you are not in office. Overall, this is a great product. I would rate this review a 9.

Currently, many applications are hosted on the web. They are hosted in multiple clouds and tenants. Organizations with different geolocations and users require a very secure WAF solution. For enterprise companies, it is essential to secure their networks and applications.
Trend Vision One offers a single monitoring console. People can easily monitor their action items.
The cons include it not being implemented in the mid-enterprise segment. For these organizations, it is an additional expense. Even companies with multi-tenant, multi-cloud, and multi-geolocation environments are not using this WAF solution because it is an investment. They already have endpoint protection, EDR, firewalls, and authentication. Spending on WAF is an extra investment for them. This is one reason mid-enterprise segments hesitate to adopt it.

With on-prem hardware appliances, there are going to be some challenges. The cost is less for on-prem, but you need implementation and maintenance support.
It is pricey. Trend Micro has been in the field for 30 years, so you have to pay a premium amount for that. SentinelOne and CrowdStrike are currently ruling the entire world, even though they are newcomers in the market.

Recently, my company faced an attack on one of our applications, and it triggered the tool's Trend Micro Toolbar. Generally, my company gets the logs for everything. It was a sudden incident where someone cracked our company's firewall after a long period of attacks, and unfortunately, due to such a scenario, Trend Micro and Trend Micro Toolbar were not able to log in to our environment because we had layer 7 security covering honeypot, DDoS and other such areas.
The most valuable features of the solution stem from the tool's ability to provide patch updates and regular logs. Trend Micro Web Security is always aware of and monitors the trends attached to OWASP Top 10, which is why the tool is always well secured.
