WIth Cloud implementations there are plenty of analytics that you can reference when moving data using ETL tools. Even outside of the Cloud space I think that there are plenty of options as long as you are on Oracle Products to do this type of analytics. But really what it boils down to is do you have the relationship with the DBA to make these analytics happen and give you access to the dashboard.
Basically, the option is there its just not a "in your face solution". Would it be great to have that on the standard ETL tool....sure, but really even if you had it do you know how to use it properly. I know what you are thinking...."But I know how to use it so therefore I should have it".......OK....Maybe you know but you in the lower percentage with me and a few other people. ROI on that isn't there which is why they haven't done this.
